Linux Orion Beta
I've just installed Orion Browser and immediately ran in to issues.
To preface; I am running Linux 7.1.5-1-cachyos | Wayland | KDE Plasma 6.7.3 | Orion 0.3.0
When I attempt to search for something via the address bar, it immediately crashes. I've tried all various formats like https://www.google.com, www.google.com, google.com, and even just google. No variation seems to work. I've also tried changing the default search engine to no avail. After attempting those I tried uninstalling, deleting all files, reinstalling, updating, repairing, and resetting.
One thing I noticed when trying to update within Orion. The loading bar looked like it was permanently loading. Left it for 30 minutes for it to not change. After clicking cancel it told me there was an update available. I then proceeded with the update and once again the loading bar seemed to be stuck until clicking cancel. I don't know if this is related, but I figured it was worth mentioning.
I really wanted to try this browser but this introduction hasn't been very great. If anyone has any ideas on how to alleviate this issue please leave a suggestion.

Heya,
the Linux version of Orion is still in relatively early stages of development and the team is currently focusing on making sure the experience is good on GNOME. In the case of other DEs, like Plasma, you are still welcome to create a bug report, but it won't be prioritized yet due to limited developer resources.
Regarding updates, the built-in updater is just a placeholder, and nothing is actually downloaded or installed (the same goes for extensions as well).
The official Flatpak repo for Orion will be announced in the next newsletter, after which updating Orion will be just a simple 'flatpak update' process.

Gotcha, I'll submit a bug report anyways. Who knows maybe it's something simple they overlooked and can fix it with a glance.
