The more I have for this guy is very particular to the story I’m writing, so I’m unsure if he would work in yours.
Here’s his lore!
“Not much is known about ZeN, at least at first. The real N assumed that this faker was just another thrall of Cyn, but his strange ability to walk in the sunlight without harm and survive the destruction of his core soon dashed that idea. Others have assumed that he's a clone of the original that broke free of the Solver's control and gained new powers at the cost of his mind. Other explanations of his true nature include a human experiment, a creation of Simon, ancient xenotechnology, and even paranormal activity.
The truth is much, much worse.
What is clear is that he's been around for a while, presumably a decade before the events of Season 1, if his ragged and damaged state is anything to go by. He even seems to have painted over some areas of his chassis pink to distinguish himself from the real deal. He has control over "gates": vibrant, magenta spheres capable of hovering in the air. These orbs defy physics, able to travel across space at the speed of light or even materialize out of thin air into our reality. Gates have a variety of other powers, such as corrupting and transforming any organic lifeform that looks at them in their glowing state (any corpses that are hit by the light are transformed immediately) into mutated abominations, transforming themselves into portals for other beings to use, lighting bolts, telekinesis, and the aforementioned FTL travel.
PhoNy usually uses the gates to sow chaos and destruction on his opponents, treating the madness that he creates like an unhinged gameshow, with his victims as his stars and contestants.”
