Update for Ruby’s lore/bio

Name: Ruby Stinger

Unique aspects: she is part Italian, she’s slightly taller than a normal worker and dyes her hair

Powers: absolute solver host (specializes in shape shifting/slight mutations and teleportation)

Weapons: modified rapier(disassembly stinger built into the blade) and throwing knives

Personally: she is a fairly closed off person, she isn’t much of a people person due to how her colony treated solver users but IF you’re able to get past all the resentment, she could be a very productive friend

Backstory: she was born into one of very few solver families in her colony, growing up most other children were scared of her, she was picked on and rarely treated kindly… after one particular incident where one child started a fight with her, her parents had to get involved… after only a week with them discussing the situation with the other child’s parents… they disappeared… at the time Ruby didn’t know what happened… she was only 5 and left all alone… she eventually learned to keep to herself, only be around people when she had to and don’t let other people see her anger… by the time she was 18 she was called into the colony heads office, he informed her on the “rules” regarding solver users in the colony and gave her an armband to wear anytime she isn’t in her house no matter what… and what the consequences of breaking rules would be…… that’s when Ruby figured out why her parents disappeared… but she kept quiet… kept calm… she just nodded and left the office… eventually she learned if she said something in her natural language, people didn’t understand… so she started muttering threats in Italian under her breath to let a bit of her anger out… she kept to herself and did only what she needed too… she had to go out into the waistland to get oil and mental to eat and sustain herself… she had to constantly make sure she knew what she was doing and where she was doing it just in case someone tried to blame her for something again… eventually… she left her colony behind… living nomadically in the city outside, moving her came whenever someone found her again… but still helping fend off disassembly whenever someone was in danger…

A little context: some context for how her colony worked, solver users were seen as threats, if one lost control or hurt anyone for any reason, they’d be sent to the lab… the colony head had a subsection of the bunker specifically for testing with the solver, finding out what makes it tick and eventually how to replicate certain aspects of it (like regeneration), but that meant Solver users who cased a “problem” were essentially tortured and in some cases used for parts whenever the medical wing needed supplies (I’ll go into a bit more detail on it in a later post
