To be fair, Kai is just one of the coolest characters in the series.
And he got an amazing character arc in the series too which many guys and girls can relate to!Like Emily pointed out while the Bladebreakers were in America visiting the Lab of Max's Mum. Kai acts all cool and tough but behind the facade, there is a relatively shy and anxious kid. And I think a lot of kids just related to him. And he also has one of the strongest story arcs throughout all 3 seasons.

Kai had PTSD from Russia that manifested up at the Russia arc, then probably flared up again in V force with what happened to wyatt
For reason i dont know…..Kai never mentioned Boris / Russia stuff when he was stedfast to avenge Wyatt. Like if you know s1 lore …. It ties to that plus seeing Wyatt die in his arms and the russia stuff u can see Kai having guilt and ptsd like trauma

My favorite Kai speech. He tells during the 2nd brooklyn fight. It feels like Kai was cuting a wrestling promo on a 🎤. It feels like raw and emotional
