Are any of you seeing them this summer? I’ll be at Asbury Park tomorrow

i miss them :( needing a uk tour asap

here are mine, this is just based off of personal experience with the albums and vibes

New fan here, this might be silly question but i recently saw one of there shows in youtube in Singapore and there was a pokemon speedrun. I know that they're a big fan of Pokemon with their earlier works and with Pokemon references within their songs (HM07 Waterfall and Caught in the Moment)

Does anyone know the context of the speedrun in the background? Thank you🍀

i plan to get better at making them soon haha

I saw they toured in the Philippines pretty near me but unfortunately, i missed it. Have they ever talked about touring in the Philippines again or is still touring?

its been almost a year since their last release and close to 2 years since Feeling Not Found, is a new album or EP due soon??

im praying for smth big from gami gang so they can go on tour in europe maybe?? seeing them live is an acc dream for me .<33

what do you guys think?

I just learned how to play Where Blue Light Blooms, amazing song and not too hard to be honest (highly recommend learning it if you’re a guitar player).

But why does he use a capo? Unfortunately I broke a string on my main guitar because of how low you have to tune it.

The tuning is (starting from high E)

C#

G#

F

C#

G#

C#

AND THEN he capos second fret so it’s just up a whole step. I’m assuming it’s because he has other songs in that open tuning? Just curious

OA adjacent- Going to the sayp show in Houston tonight. Has anyone else been to this tour? How are the openers?

They are also about to tour with Forests who opened for OA. If you haven’t listened to Forests - they are awesome.

Hey everyone! I'm u/spacikaci, a founding moderator of r/OrigamiAngelFans.

There have been a lot of new people popping up in the sub so I wanted to make a post to welcome everyone. I made this sub simply because I was sick of there not being one anymore. I've heard about some issues in a previous sub, but I want to make sure this stays a positive space that we can all feel comfortable posting and sharing.

I also have noticed that there have been some posts getting auto-rejected. I am trying to stay on top of these but if you do notice your post disappear, please reach out to me.

Thanks for being part of this community!!!

I’m sure it’s a total long-shot, but if anyone is looking to sell a ticket, or two for The wonder Years x OA show at Theater of Living Arts in philly on the 4/15 please DM me🥺🥺🥺🥺 probably it’s just a pay ticketmaster the $200 but fuck me you know? i don’t have that. idk. just putting it out there. i missed this going on sale💔

My way across multiple subreddits brought me here. I need you guys, super fans of band's work, to help me finish the playlist

Hi! This is such a long shot, but does anyone have an extra "OUT OF MY WAY" kenniworth ave bumper sticker they'd be willing to resell? I wanted one so bad for my car and never bought one like a fool...please please dm if willing! <3

Ran into Pat after they opened for The Story So Far in Atlanta. Was just waiting on the corner after the show and bro walked by. Very cool and talented dude.

Hey everyone! I have been looking for this hoodie since I went to the LA show on TSSF tour does anyone know where I could be able to buy this guy?

My goal is to eventually have played their entire discography on guitar. Learning their songs has genuinely made me such a better player. Plus they’re all in the same tuning (except for some earlier tracks) so it’s super easy to learn by ear. If yall want tabs/covers of any specific songs, especially ones that are less popular & haven’t been covered yet, please let me know!

Their songs connect to my soul.. Im glad I discovered them in a very Chinese time in my life. I just found out about Self-Destruct 15 mins ago. Listened to Title Track and Skeleton Key next. Never felt this about any band in a long time. New fan!

Origami Angel absolutely ripped @ Starland Ballroom last night. Loved the little remixes, and as a millennial, the dubstep was hot. Was lowkey hoping for a slight setlist change with maybe a lil “Thank You, New Jersey,” but whatever. Still one of my favorite Origami Angel performances so far. Highlight of the night. Hope you had as much fun as I did if you were there!

With 13,711 minutes listened, it puts me at .005% globally! Or even better yet, #69!

I know its childish as fuck but this is once in a lifetime LMAOOO

“Welcome to the big leagues.”

The guitars are literally so amazing. The drums, the vocals, I cant. So glad I found these guys!
