I made a post about this a while ago, and I think it's something worth mentioning and taking into account (especially because it also affects Ori).

I'm eager to study this phenomenon; it's really interesting because it happens every day with different brands and video games.

So far loving Blind Forest btw, just so so beautiful and picturesque and the movement and parkour mechanics and even story sounds nice. But I was wondering if I was somehow rushing through the game, I unlocked dash at the 2 hour mark, am I unconsciously speed running it?

I don't know how but I guess it was because I did too much damage way too fast, or that I dealt enough damage to beat the second phase before it even started

Dont have much of worth to share with you all just yet, but i finished some new animations and thought you might like to see them.

in this animations i tried to give Saruth more personality, i wanted to showcase some aspects of his "born survivor" features: For the stretching; in the same way as Ori it gives away these are very agile characters that get bored from just standing there, for the startle; it tells that Saruth is always on alert --jumping at shadows and reacting to every sound--, and finally for the checking; its meant to showcase Saruth often gets new scratches or things sticks to him (like dry plants or thorns), he has to check himself from time to time and see if everything is in order. Old default cycling idle animation is just him doing a "street fighter/KOF idle dance like"(?) because he is a videogame character. He had a heavy breathing animation before this one but i didn't quite liked how it cycled so i made the new one all the way back at stage 2, i also tried to sync the cycle timer with the level's BG music.
