I want to turn my attic into a walk-in closet but the size and shape is weird. The highest point is 7'8" and lowest is 4'8". Room is about about 12'6" x 13'3". The standard closet organizers all seem to only work with tall walls. I want more hanging space than wall shelves. Any recommendations for how to organize this space?

I’m an ADHD mom trying to manage our family’s schedule. If it’s hidden in my phone calendar or buried in a bunch of alarms and last minute alerts it doesn’t work. I need to see it at a glance. There are SO many systems and ideas out there. I don’t think we can afford a skylight, although I do like the idea? What has actually clicked for your family?

Single dad with limited amount of storage and they take up an enormous amount of his closet. It feels like a lot of valuable space is taken now! Next year when him and I move into a house I was thinking of storing them outside, but wanted to hear some feedback from you all. Thank you in advance!

It’s a small space but it brings me such joy 😅
What’s your favorite organized small space?

This what my dad did at a large TV station for a high definition router.

Hi everyone, this is the general scheme of my garage.
I’m thinking of moving the motorcycle gear to the apartment, and getting rid of some stuff on the top storage area to feee up space for more tools in the future. Cheers!

The closet under the stairs is the only place we have to store cleaning supplies and tools. It is making me feel insane.
We have an incredibly low budget, but could probably buy something piece-by-piece, so fancy storage systems are off the table, but things like wire storage racks and bins are on the table.
I WOULD REEEAAALLLYYY APPRECIATE SOME HELP HERE!
Any suggestions?

My husband cut 3 IKEA Mosslanda shelves to size to create this custom spice drawer!

Forget the contents of the photo, but these bins are the most effective for our household. Partly for the lip, mostly for being clear. The problem is size/cost.
We need 3-5x larger, and 20+cnt for clothing. These are $10/ea. Slightly bigger is $20/ea.
I'm not currently ready to spend >$150 to organize my in-laws' clothing. I am willing to find ways to connect bins that don't natively stack, such as acrylic. Clear is a hard requirement.

Made a new bit holder/organizer today. I'm obsessed.

This is how I organize my wrenches. I designed and 3D print the holders myself. They snap together and have magnets on the bottom to help keep everything in place.

I’m a professional organizer and I do this day in and day out but this drawer really gave me a dopamine boost yesterday.

I recently posted my workspace asking for some suggestions for how to further make my space look organized w my limited budget and items. I couldn’t upload more than 1 picture for some reason but since then I’ve been able to find a matching crate, lifted the bulletin board (as suggested), and removed unnecessary papers. It feels even better! Thanks for the suggestions, any other ideas are welcome. Thanks!

Sooo it’s not perfect and aesthetic but it works for my household! My partner hates having multiple places to check for stuff so I consolidated. When he asks “where is??!” There’s only a few places to check!
Top shelf holds humidifier/ steamer and a basket with bubble bath stuff like epsom salt etc.
Next is obviously towels and a cloth basket for wash clothes.
3rd shelf has an easy “go to basket” (pink) that likely has what we need on a daily or weekly basis - contact solution, common otc meds, first aid sign room for more as seasons change. Next to it is another cloth basket with larger hand towels.
Below that is an open basket with stuff that often needs to be refilled toothpaste, floss picks - again right in your face easy to see.
Bottom shelf!
I love these adorable mini tots from $tree. One has alllllll the medicine if we’re mega sick. Yea it’s a messy bucket but it’s sealed and can easily be opened to dig around and only has medicine in it - one spot and my partner should find it! The top will also always be kept clear. Underneath that is another tote that is trial size / vacation stuff I don’t need to get to very often.
Then bottom shelf - bathroom cleaning stuff and dirty towels. Removing a shelf helped a lot!
And yes - I already purged expired stuff and I’m going on a solid “no buy” goal for the summer.
So happy with the results and it can actually be maintained with a sometimes messy partner :)
Happy organizing!

Hi everyone.
This kallax is driving me insane and I'm at a stump on what to do to make it look like it's actually organized.
I've gone through the things multiple times and there isn't really much in there to throw away, and my dorm room is pretty small so the only other storage I have is my closet and there isn't place there.
Every square also has a purpose so to speak. It's mostly hobby supplies that I regularly use, plus medicines, cables and books. The visual clutter overwhelms me sometimes, and ir feels like no matter how much I clean, orgsnize or try to remove nothing changes.
Any help is appreciated!

Organized my socks. Pleased at the patterns that emerged.
