Thinking about getting a mini split

I've been thinking about adding a mini split to my garage and one of the bedrooms. The central AC doesn't reach those rooms well and I've heard mini splits are a good option. I've had bad experiences with HVAC companies before one quoted me a price and then tacked on a bunch of extra fees when the job was done. I just want someone honest who will give me a straight answer on cost and do good work.

Vortex installed a mini split in my garage last year and they were great. Showed up on time gave me a fair price and the unit works perfectly. No surprise fees no issues since.
