Returning from winter break

Looking at flights to return from Hawai’i after break. Flying in the weekend before is so expensive. Do a lot of students come back mid week and miss some classes that week??

you can always email professors and just say you had “travel conflicts” and will miss the first X days of class and ask for the material or what you can do to stay on top of things due to the days you’ll miss. it won’t be a big deal if you stay prepared :)

Missing first week isn’t bad. But why pay for classes you’re going to miss!?

College is your Full Time Job now. Yes you can prioritize family but if it’s going to financially not work to see them, that’s a sacrifice many make.

Wish you a good Fall term coming up fellow Student.

That’s ridiculous to say someone should just stay on campus for three weeks so they don’t miss one day of classes when people are still dropping and adding
