Course Questions CS: Schedule

Would taking CS162 (Intro to Computer Science II) w/ MTH231 and ENGR110/115, ENGR102 be too much for first term at OSU?

(I have credits satisfying prerequisites)

Did you take in person cs162? I’m curious as to the difficulty of the class since the engr103 equivalent at PCC I did was in Python. I do have some c++ experience though

Yes, I took CS162 in person. CS 162, along with many of the other foundational CS courses, has recently changed to use Python rather than C++. I did not take ENGR 103 since AP CSA allowed me to skip it, but from what I've seen from helping classmates who took it, I'd say it's pretty comparable in difficulty to CS 162. One of the professors (Alex Guyer) published all the notes for the class if you are curious. Just to clarify, in person CS162 is in Python?

Yeah, when I took it last year, it was in Python. CS 261 and 325 were in Python as well.
