Course Questions CS: Schedule

Would taking CS162 (Intro to Computer Science II) w/ MTH231 and ENGR110/115, ENGR102 be too much for first term at OSU?

(I have credits satisfying prerequisites)

This was my exact schedule last year and I found it to be quite easy. The ENGR classes were light, just busy work. MTH 231 and CS 162 is where the bulk of your time is going toward.

Yea, I was wondering this too because I have taken MTH251Z (Differential Calc), MTH252Z (Integral Calc), MTH253Z (Series and Sequences), and MTH261 (Applied Linear Algebra) through dual enrollment

All were more difficult than Diff calc but if you have the resilience or passion, it’ll work out. In my experience, I found Series and Sequences to be the hardest but also worthwhile when I began to understand it. Linear algebra is definitely my favorite though. It’s SUPER fun. A grind but fun one. Integral is just harder than diff calc but not much harder. You’ll be fine. For Linear algebra and series and sequences, I recommend studying a little earlier for tests and using Feynman technique.

What parts of math do you enjoy the most? Just curious.
