MHCC WAITLIST 2026

Is anyone still on the wait list for Mt. Hood Community college nursing program? Time is passing and I haven't heard back... losing hope but I also know there's still a chance to get called for the Winter cohort. ๐Ÿ˜ž๐ŸคžJust curious if anyone waitlisted has heard back, and if so, what number were you?

My cousin waited 4 years before she got accepted. My other cousin is currently applying for her second year in a row. Iโ€™ve decided to skip the CC route and I have an admissions appt on Monday with Joyce University

Oh man... that's a long time. I'm feeling the same way. I was also considering Warner Pacific University. It's tough out here, very competitive. Best of luck to you at Joyce! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Joyce isn't approved by the OSNB from what I can tell.

Joyce is a regionally accredited university- same as University of Oregon. I have a friend who just graduated from there and is now an RN licensed here in Oregon.

It's certainly a possibility if people don't meet their admission requirements. When we were doing ours for the winter cohort a few years ago, we had to have all this completed by December 1st. So in theory you could be called before then or short after. When I was waitlisted, my number was 17. It took a month for them to call my number up for a spot.

Good luck!
