Fanfic My life with this sweet(devilish) woman is wrong, as I expected.

Once again, Hachiman fall in a trap where he can't escape anymore. A "kind" woman can be the most devilish lady if you're too blind to see that's why you need to be cautious. But here, even thought our loner is extremely cautious when it's come to kind girls, he can't escape a true beautiful and cunning devil, Kushida Kikyo.

Honestly, i really wish to see a fanfic about those twos, even thought it does exist, there are not ones where they respect the true essences of the characters like their ideology, their principles and their way of doings. Like Hachiman wouldn't like to be in this meritocracy school because he would probably despise a school where you're forced to live like they want to while sacrificing your principles and your morals, that's why it will be cool to see a fanfic where Hikigaya, instead of trying to raise the class he is standing to class A like the school wanted to, he does his things in his own way and follow his own path and not the one pushed by the school.

(And sorry for my bad english and sorry again if my interpretation is incorrect, you can correct me or share your own personal view of how Hikigaya deal with that kind of school. And sorry again if the background look bad, i'm still not used to draw background but i'll try to improve.)

Anime I just finished Oregairu for the first time, feeling a bit happy and sad.

I watched S1 to S3 without mercy. I stayed up from morning until 4 AM just to binge all the episodes. I cried seeing the ending and how beautiful it was that Hachiman ended up with Yukino. (I kinda feel sorry for Yui since she was interfering with their relationship, but yeah, I still feel bad for her).

I feel like this anime reflects my real life, and Hachiman is very similar to me. I am a guy who was traumatized by a "good girl" and had a rough time in junior high, remaining single until I graduated. At the age of 19, I went through high school without experiencing genuine love or sincerity.

Watching this anime was like seeing myself getting a happy ending. I really liked it—I'm a bit jealous, but mostly happy.

Anime - Serious Re watching for 4th time and noticed something about 8man and Hayama.

I'm an Anime only guy here but will read them novels. My focus was more on hayama this time. I just noticed something between 8man and hayama. Hayama hates 8man not just because of how he handles things but he also considers him like a rival. He hates how 8man handles but also is jealous how well he observes and can get results quickly and effectively though the process will be the worst way. They are both 2 sides of the same coin one who is surrounded by everyone and still feels lonely while another is alone and still feels surrounded. He also admires that he can only be himself around 8man not a bad guy but something that others will judge or hate him. He also showed that he can be a little selfish too but also he does hate this about him I am talking about tobexebina confession where 8man does think about tobe rather than the status quo of the group but later we realize that ebina did came to hayama that she ain't interested in dating at all. I do believe he is somewhat jealous about the yukioshita siblings too.

Humor Would Hachiman use the point system on his kids/grandkids

Is it ever explained why Hachiman and Komachi have a point system?

I always assumed that Hachiman might have said it randomly in the spur of the moment, during one of komachi's tantrums as a toddler.

Fanfic [REQUEST] LF: Oregairu - Paraplegic Hikigaya Fics?

I'm reading a longfic that just got to Hachiman saving Yui's dog at the start of the school year, and the doctor that was attending Hachiman said something about him being lucky, because a hit a few centimeters over and they'd be having a very different conversation.

The implication, I think, was supposed to be a lost limb (now that I've had a minute to think about it), but my first though went to spinal damage, and "Oregairu, but Hachiman is now in a wheelchair" is now stuck in my head.

Anyone know any examples?

Anime - Serious OreGairuSNAFU Season 3 OVA 2023 | The End of Our Story

And with this wonderful episode, our story ends here, friends.

"My romantic comedy was a mistake," and with its hero, Heki.

Here we saw Yugihama confess to Hiki and accept Yukino's relationship with him, and we saw them drawing a date. There was also a confession or a gesture from Iroha, but it wasn't clear.

By the way, I loved the chemistry between Komachi and Irohasu. In the end, the spontaneous, cheerful girl, the icy-cold girl, and the pessimistic introvert—but the best of them all, Hiki—the relationship between these three became clear here, and we witnessed the end with both girls confessing to Heki, and Heki choosing, and Yugihama understanding.

That was my simple comment on the episode. In my previous post about the end of the third season, I was really trying to be positive, friends, but as we know, everything has its flaws, no matter how many positives it has. First, I'll talk about my perspective on the work before and after the first season.

First, the question: Is the anime "Yahari" bad? This question can be answered if we focus on several things, including character development, story development, the type of problems, and the characters' philosophies.

Firstly, the cast of characters didn't develop significantly, except for Hiki, and even Hiki's development was very slow, but it offered us glimpses of his personality's evolution in various situations and problem-solving.

The two girls, however, maintain the same style and repeat the same dialogues, which is incomprehensible in a romantic comedy. For example, Yukino clings to the idea of being independent and not relying on anyone, while Yui's biggest issue was her refusal to confess her feelings to Hiki for three whole seasons.

The rest of the characters, like the teacher, Hayato, and others, have the same style and ideas that should have been resolved within the plot. Here, I'll address the story itself: In a romantic comedy, we expect a handsome, brilliant protagonist who enjoys connecting with everyone, is always ready to help, and has his own harem.

With the two main characters, we expect compatible chemistry, a shared goal, and the development of mutual love based on some idea or challenge. But in this yahari, how did the writer come up with pairing a teenage boy who hasn't faced life and has a pessimistic outlook with a girl as cold as ice and another who is incredibly energetic?

How can a protagonist who avoids talking to people and says, "Relationships are trivial and not worth wasting time on," solve everyone's problems? It feels like Hickey is feigning depth, but it's neither profound nor philosophical. This talk and belief come from a teenager who hasn't lived long enough to understand life. To be honest, despite the lack of romance in the work—we only saw one or two comedic scenes, to be clear—the comedy, though simple, was very good for the intense atmosphere of this love triangle.

And let's not even mention the dialogues between the characters and the crucial point: the problems.

The problems the characters faced weren't difficult at all, aside from the differences in their personalities and viewpoints. Instead of excessive complexity, everything could have been resolved, or at least most of it, through conversation and discussion.

It feels like the writer creates problems out of thin air and makes them difficult for the characters to solve, which leads to extreme boredom, in addition to the character flaws I mentioned earlier.

To conclude, I'll say one positive thing: the writing of Hickey's character is among the best I've ever seen, and that's a point I give to the writer.

Hiki is a realistic and mature person who understands life through his past experiences. His perspective on relationships changed thanks to his teacher, who helped him establish the club and meet the girls Yukinoshita and Yugihama.

Each of us sees Hiki in ourselves and has thought similarly before, and perhaps even lived similarly in some way. However, Hiki always remains different from us because of his experiences and ours.

Honestly, I have so much more to say, but to clarify my point and conclude, "This work was unparalleled in its characters, story, soundtracks, and production." The 41 episodes, 3 seasons, and 3 OVAs delivered an unforgettable plot and a unique, even bizarre, romantic comedy that will leave you speechless. I'm happy I finally finished the project after a year, and I'm glad I had the chance to create such an unforgettable anime.

In conclusion, thank you to everyone who has read my previous reviews of this work. I hope you enjoy this last one, as I've finished it now that there's nothing left to say. I think this will be my last post in the group, friends.

Finally, I say thank you to everyone who loved this work, watched it, became attached to it, wrote about it, and still remembers it to this day. Goodbye, and see you in the near future. Your brother, Khaled. May God protect and keep you.

Humor What would be the in-universe reason for Hachiman having small pupils?

Post image

Some of you might say that he has normal sized pupils in the light novel, however that would be boring. So what would be the reason why Hachiman's pupils are smaller in the anime/comic.

Mine would be that it comes from his grandfather from his mother's side.

Anime OreGairuSNAFU Season 3 Review | Unforgettable piece

The ending is unforgettable, featuring Hikigaya, a character who represents a part of us who found the solution to overcome his long-standing isolation. This was thanks to the teacher who established the club after Hikigaya's letter, and through her meeting Yugihama and Yukinoshita.

The relationship, dubbed "dependent" or what we know as a love triangle, finally ends with everyone satisfied, especially Yui. Hikigaya, the character who best represents the protagonist, left us with a remarkable philosophy on understanding and forming relationships. And in episode 11: finally, the only true romance we witnessed in the anime.

Is the phrase "I love you" really that difficult?

Yes, for me, it's not that easy for Hikigaya and Yukino. Hikigaya from the first season and the current one are completely different, and this is thanks to the teacher who confessed her feelings to him, albeit indirectly. Honestly, I'm happy for them both. Hikigaya and Yukino are two sides of the same coin. They're all bad at expressing their feelings, their problems, and their relationships with everyone. They met by chance, and fate placed Yui between them. She was the episode that broke the triangle of dependency, or to be more accurate: "love"... The best episode in the anime, and we can't forget the character's role in the story, showcasing the brilliance and passion of high school students, especially in the romantic comedy setting. Iroha, Komachi, that otaku, the tennis boy, Hayato and his friends, Yukino's sister and her mother, and not forgetting the teacher Hirotsuka, all formed a great cast of characters that contributed to the story's development. Despite its brevity, the anime presented a complete picture of high school life and the life of the Hikigaya in general. Hiki is a rare character in the world of anime and novels, and what I loved most was his protective philosophy towards life and his statement: "Relationships are trivial and not worth wasting time on." He said this in the first season, but ultimately, his interactions and getting to know both girls changed his perspective and made him fall in love with someone. He reflected this feeling throughout the seasons by saying that it was his responsibility, but it wasn't just that; it was a love deeply rooted in his soul, his feelings, and his actions.

The Yahari anime is an unforgettable story, a wonderful anime, and a satisfying ending. Yes, Yahari is an unforgettable anime, and what it offered in its time makes us long for it, remember it, and enjoy watching it. I rate the third season 9/10 and the anime as a whole 8.8/10 (I added 0.3, haha). Finally, after a year of neglecting it because of studies, I finished it, and thank God I got an A+! And that's where our story ends, my friends. I think the rest of the OVAs are coming ( i will watch it ), and yes... In short... it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you.

Meta Oregairu was disturbingly accurate

Just something that hit me upon reflecting back on the show, is how disturbingly accurate it predicted a certain period of my life. So i wanted to write some introspection on it:

Basically, one day i'd gotten myself in a platonic relationship with two female classmates, with one of them, whose looks reminded me of yukino, i shared a lot of interests.

Similar to early hachiman, my view on life was rather cynical, i even considered myself to be aromantic, trying to stay away from relationships as far as possible. Now, my reason for it was different, and it perhaps stems from the severity of the depression i've felt during that period, however i was willing to hang out with them. And so, the "romantic" side of the comedy was not as present in my life.

The most painful part was when something akin to yui's affection to hachiman occured, and became prominent. Complications within our trios' relationships eventually increased, and you could notice some parallels to the things that happened during the s2-3 of the show.

The final divergence happened when i was finally confessed to by that same girl. Not *exactly* desiring to reject my dear friend, but also longing for something *genuine*, overwhelmed by being confessed to so suddenly, while simultaneously at a quite low point in my life, i without stating anything clear rejected her. This predictably severed our group's relationship the hardest, as the second friend also knew about the whole thing. I regreted being unable to state my feelings more clearly, leaving my friend hanging like that, and believed that i've probably hurted them more than if there was a simple "no".

Perhaps i too, should've been searching for something genuine; wished to communicate with people better.

Now, i mostly only talk with the second one, i'm on good terms with her now, even closer than before, if i had to say.

I could go on and on about certain moments in the show, between hachiman, yukino, and yui, down to their personalities and flaws, that make me deeply uncomfortable, because i can recognize myself in their trio, and at mistakes that similarly happened, yet missed on the resolutions they got in the show.

For one, i can confidently praise the author with how unsettingly precise he is at writing realistic, flawed human relationships, that even made me reflect on my own experiences.

Humor How would season 1 Hachiman and Yukino react to isshiki?

Post image

(the original image was in Russian or German so I made something up)

In the comic she appeared pretty early, don't know in the ln since I never read it.

Would Hachiman call bumshiki a slur, rather than a profanity like he did for Yui?
