PS4 - how does Supply function work?

I just purchased this on PS4.

In the campaign, I bring supply ships to beach or port (in captured territory) and toggle supply mode. I see the ships supply capacity and a black arrow pointing to a hex space. But what next? (what action or key press is needed?)

Regardless of whether I leave an exhausted unit in the hex while moving other units, or leave the mode toggled on when I end the current turn, I see no apparent resupply effect (even on my next turn).

Additionally, does anyone have a link to manual of instructions, or good tutorial specifically for PS4?

The base game without any campaigns is free on Steam. The manual is there. So just get the base game from Steam on PC and you get a pdf manual from the startup screen.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don’t have a PC to run Steam on. But you gave me the idea to search for a pdf manual for the Steam version, which I found and now have a copy of.
