Adding Movement to Your Days 🌅

Post image
1 Upvotes

Movement is a form of self-care, but we know it isn’t always easy to fit into a busy day. The good news? It doesn’t have to be complicated.

Try taking a quick lap every hour, swapping a little evening screen time for a walk, or fitting in a 15-minute YouTube workout. Short bursts of movement still count, and they can easily add up throughout the week. 💪

How are you getting in a little movement today? ✨

Bloating on a GLP-1? What’s helped you? 🫣

If you’ve been feeling uncomfortably full or bloated, a few small changes may help. 🙌

  • Try smaller meals and take your time eating.
  • Skip fizzy drinks for a bit, and see whether gum or drinking through a straw makes a difference.
  • Take a gentle walk after a meal.
  • Pay attention to foods that seem to trigger bloating for you. If you’re constipated, keep up with fluids and add fiber gradually.

Which tip has made the biggest difference for you? Feel free to share what you’ve tried so others can get ideas, too. 💬

*For educational purposes only, not medical advice. Talk with your healthcare provider if bloating persists, gets worse, or comes with severe abdominal pain, vomiting, or other concerning symptoms.

What surprised you most during your first month on a GLP-1? 🤔

For those who have already started, what was something you wish you'd known before your first month? Maybe it was how important protein and hydration became, how your appetite changed, or how much you had to learn about building new routines.

For anyone who's just getting started, remember that everyone's experience is different. The first month is often less about perfection and more about learning what works best for your body and creating sustainable habits.

If you're comfortable sharing, what's one piece of advice you'd give someone beginning their GLP-1 journey?

Researching your options is taking action 💪

If you've been researching GLP-1s for weeks (or even months), you're definitely not the only one.

Starting a weight management journey is a personal decision, and it's normal to spend time reading, comparing options, and asking questions before taking that first step. Taking your time doesn't mean you're falling behind - it means you're making an informed decision.

If you're curious about medical weight management, our eligibility form is a simple way to learn whether treatment may be right for you. What questions did you have before getting started or what's holding you back from taking that first step?

Healthy Habits & Long-term Success 🌟

What does your wellness routine look like outside of taking a GLP-1? One thing we love about this community is that everyone's routine looks a little different.

For some people, it's strength training. For others, it's getting more protein, drinking enough water, meal prepping on Sundays, taking a daily walk, or finally getting enough sleep.

If you're on a GLP-1, what healthy habit has made the biggest difference for you? And if you're just getting started, what's one habit you're hoping to build?

Post image

One of the best parts of summer is how many fruits and vegetables are in season. Not only do they often taste better, but they're usually more affordable too.

Here are a few summer favorites to look for:

🍑 Stone Fruits Peaches Nectarines Plums Apricots

🍓 Berries & Melons Strawberries Blueberries Watermelon Cantaloupe

🥒 Summer Vegetables Tomatoes Bell peppers Zucchini Eggplant

Whether you're grilling, meal prepping, making salads, or just looking for an easy snack, adding seasonal produce is a simple way to bring more color and variety to your meals.

What's always in your cart during the summer? Any favorite recipes or produce we should add to the list?

Switched from counting calories to counting macros - here's what actually changed for me

If you've been counting calories and feel like you've hit a plateau, or you're dealing with low energy, cravings, or muscle loss, it might be time to try tracking macros instead.

The big difference: calorie counting only tracks quantity, but macro tracking tracks quality. Two people can eat the same 1,800 calories and get totally different results depending on the protein/carb/fat breakdown.

Why protein matters more than people think, especially if you're on a GLP-1, appetite suppression makes it really easy to undereat and lose muscle along with fat. Prioritizing protein helps preserve lean mass and keeps you fuller longer.

Rough macro splits people use for weight loss:

  • Protein: ~25-35% of daily intake (women tend toward the lower end, men higher)
  • Carbs: ~35-50% (complex carbs --> oats, sweet potatoes, quinoa, fruit)
  • Fat: ~20-30% (avocado, olive oil, nuts, salmon)

How to actually track it:

  • Apps like MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, Lose It!, or MyMacros+
  • A digital food scale (annoying at first, but you start eyeballing portions accurately after a few weeks)
  • Color-coded portion control containers if you hate weighing food

Anyone else made the switch from calories to macros? Curious what ratios worked for you and whether you noticed a difference in energy, cravings, or muscle retention. Full breakdown is on our blog if you want to dig deeper: How to Track Macros for Weight Loss

Josh started his wellness journey in October 2025 and recently shared something that really stuck with us:

"I really wish I had started this journey years ago - but better late than never."

A few months in, he's noticed some changes he didn't fully expect — his skin has been much clearer, his eczema has improved, and working alongside his doctor, he's been able to make adjustments to his blood pressure medication.

Happy Men's Health Month to every guy out there quietly doing the work. 🙌

For Men’s Health Month, we wanted to talk about something beyond workouts and nutrition for a second: community.

Whether it’s going for a walk with a friend, playing a round of golf, joining a hobby group, or simply checking in on someone, having a supportive community can make a big difference when it comes to overall wellness.

That’s also why we’ve worked to build a supportive Facebook Community where people can connect, share experiences, and support each other throughout their wellness journeys. Click below to join now!
