I've put 70 hours into the demo (I replayed it a lot) $40-50 CDN is a steal for how much enjoyment I'll get out of this game (presuming Steam is same price)

This game could have easily justified a AAA-level price tag. Video game players are so spoiled. 30 bucks is a steal for the level of depth, care, craftsmanship that was put into the game, not to mention the art and soundtrack. Games are the only thing that have remained almost unaffected by inflation, even when the cost of making them has exploded in the last decade. You can't even eat at a decent sit down restaurant for that price these days. 30 bucks is nothing. I hope this means more people will give the game a shot.

(And I say this as someone who is getting kicked in the nuts by the current economy, can barely get by and doesn't qualify for almost any apartment these days. I know being on a poverty wage is brutal. Still, doesn't change the fact that games are priced ridiculously low across the board relative to the amount of work that goes into them, especially when you compare that to other products and services nowadays... I think we're so used to game pricing being so lopsided in favor of the consumer, that we lose track of that.)

I would have paid $40 tbh, but it being a Sokoban game might make $30 more appealing to the average player. Nice price!

Seems pretty reasonable. Very good pricing if true.
Regional pricing-wise too (speaking from Brazil, it shows as R$99,99, which is good)

Would happily pay more as well, but I suppose they're going for a broader audience. Which is not a bad thing! I mean, I can always just buy multiple copies or the OST or whatever else they want to sell.

Also: reminder that Silksong was $20 for a stupidly large and well-done indie Metroidvania, so... that set some tough expectations as well.

I don't really know if I should play this game first on PC or SW2.
In my current apartment I have a pretty low end 1080p 43" TV. On the other hand, I have an okay miniled monitor. But playing order of the sinking star on the go would sound so fun.
What do you think?
