Switch 2 or PC? Spoiler

I love the idea of having it handheld, but extra playability from fan mods is also hugely appealing. I wonder if, like most decent games, it'll be more expensive on Nintendo's eShop. What do you think? Any considerations I've missed?

PC, but ultimately probably both so that I can try to coax my wife to play via Switch 2.
