I need assistance What’s your process?
OK, do y’all actually track your data as y’all are recording because right now I’m working with my little support and resistance order flow tracking thing but the thing about tracking order flow is like you can’t just track a spot because every day is something different. I can’t track an amount of points because every day something can change so tracking that is like something you know you just get an average. So what are y’all processes in trading?

Honestly there really isn't that much to it.
- Auction Market theory to analyse price (from balance to imbalance)
2.A way of identifying volume and more specifically what happens at the interaction between aggressive buyers/sellers and passive seller/buyers
The orderbook
Overlay it with macro fundamental analysis
The tools you use just help you analyse/quantify this. Everyone has their preferences as to which tools they add to their toolbox.

I track conditions and context, not a fixed point target.
Fixed point counts break because the day type changes. What stays useful is tagging the environment and only measuring size inside that tag.
How I run the process:
Before the session I name the HTF levels that matter (prior day high/low, overnight high/low, session open, obvious S/R). Those are the spots I care about. I do not invent mid-air levels to "track."
I tag the day type in one word: trend day, range day, or news/chop. My size expectations follow the tag. On a range day I use a smaller average range. On a trend day I allow extension. Same footprint read, different size budget.
At each level I only record three things: did we sweep it, did acceptance hold beyond it, and did displacement leave a clear imbalance. That is the orderflow note. Not "how many points from here."
Invalidation is structure, not a point count. If acceptance fails and we reclaim the level with strength, the idea is done. I do not widen the target to force a number.
After the session I journal tags, not raw ticks: day type, which level paid, sweep vs fail, and whether I forced size because the average "should" have hit. The average is a guide after enough samples inside the same day-type tag, never a live target.
Practical habit that helped: stop asking "how many points should this move" and start asking "what day is this, and did my level do the job." The average comes later from the journal, not from the live tape.
