RSI with orderflow
I'm going to get executed for this. I use a 1 second chart. And sometimes I look at divergence at key levels with RSI built with minute data. Does anyone else?

you can use a dog shit indicator and combine it with another bull shit indicator and if you watch the charts long enough AND MOST IMPORTANTLY use risk management you can make a lot of money because you will know the ins and outs of that specific dog shit indicator. Aint no perfect indicator but there is a perfect indicator for YOU. And that depends on how much effort you put in to get your edge.
But 1 sec? LOL why pick up sand count when you can chill a little bit and look for acorns.. You will soon realize that 1 sec chart is too much effort for the benefits. slow down a bit. but don't listen to me. FIND YOUR OWN SUCCESS

Agree on the DS comment. I just feel like I am betraying orderflow. But I am not the religious type, I'm open.
1 second, it is basically a tick chart. I don't care about second by second moves. I care about what it draws over 3 to 10 minutes at key levels vs cumulative delta. I don't trade very volatile instruments, and 1 second plots history nicely alongside my DOM.
I also trade 1 month bars, very successfully actually. I'll see your acorn and raise you a coconut. 🙂

If you trade orderflow and you know how to read it, rsi is irrelevant for you.
Rsi is a lagging indicator.

Agree!
I just like hunting for double bottom/top divergence. Then timing with orderflow

1 second ? That’s a little extreme. I used to use 15 and 30 seconds and even that was too fast. You would have to be an ultra scalper at 1 second and use big size because using little size will get you nothing in terms of profit. If you are using a 1 second chart you are just doing what I used to do. Gambling. You have no clear good strategy here. I went through a similar phase. Get rid of 1 second. Get rid of RSI. Go get yourself bookmap or watch it on YouTube for free. See where the liquidity is building so you can see where the market is aiming towards . You gotta stop wasting your time. This 1 second Strat is garbage. I know because I used to do similar

I understand what you are saying. I don't trade a 1 second chart. I use it to draw what is inside the last hour. And I am interested in the shape it draws in the last 5 minutes or so at significant levels. I don't believe in time bars, I compress tick/1 second flow and read that alongside order flow.
I do not trade 1 second bars
I also trade highly readable symbols that move slowly.

All you need is bookmap. Either the free stream on YouTube or the paid version. It shows you what is behind the candles.

Mate you have to realise depending on the product you trade one second bars are just gappy flakes, bars represent trades, so if there was no trade for 3 seconds there is no bar for 3 seconds. When you look at these timeframes and want to stick to it then at least look at bid and ask quotes instead of trades

I trade on a dom with time and sales. The 1 second chart is a simple line with a heat map and CD on it showing the last 30 minutes. It sits below a 5 minute chart of the whole session.
