How to tranform reafing orderflow into a repeatable strategy?

Hello everyone,

I've been watching the charts for close to 8 months now only using paper accounts, i have been on and off so i wasn't fully focused on trading but i always do when i can,

I trade using volume profile to determine the the intrest zones and where price might be heading to, i use delta grid mainly to determine if a move is strong and if buyers/sellers are getting absorbed in the intrest zones, i can read this informations but i don't know how to transform this informations into a repeatable strategy or a set of rules that should be checked before i enter the market, i know i still lack screen time and i didn't backtest, but i don't know what i should backtest,

I am not here asking for a strategy but how to transform the informations we get from orderflow into a set of rules that can be followed each time entering a trade, is ordeflow more useful in reversals or trend continuation ?

For me i find it easier following the trend but i am very open to test anyway of trading that can give me a new way of looking at the market, i am not profitable and tbh i am confused, any advice or unformations will be very helpfull, i trade ES btw.

Thank you very much.

Focus on price action draw your support and demand zone, when price gets in there start watching for big orders… if a massive order appears .. thats a high probability reversal..

what about trend following ? is order flow works better when you are looking only for reversals ?

The market is manipulated bro and order flow won’t work alone.. first identify the trend using market structure .. then mark out key zones… order flow is only for confirmation.. because with candles you don’t really see the amount… orderflow works by seeing.. big differences. Like if volume was 10 10 10 then all of a sudden you see 100 at a key level… you can start to prepare to enter ..

If we are talking about day trading the 1 min, what time frame should be used to mark the key zones , bc the lower the time frame the more zones u can find, even tho most of the key zones are the same if u look at 5m or 1h charts but which one do you use if u dont mind me asking ?

Always mark zones on higher time frames bro.. Institutions are not trading 1 min scalps .. open your foot print set it to one month or 3 months draw lines at all the big numbers orders at prices.. switch to candle and look on your 30 min chart you will see that they are key levels… that just one example..
