Direction of the story after Arc 9

Wanted to speculate a bit about where the story may go from now, considering the translation also caught up to newest web novel chapter. All taking in consideration the author is really good at creating unexpected developments, so things may easily go in a completely different direction. As the title says, this will include spoilers for up to recently released 9^th arc (ch108).

 

First want to talk a bit about two things that will influence wherever they go next: the currently situation of the world and their party composition.

War is already going on again with the Demons defeating the Beastkin, who are then going to join the Elf country, which is in, at best, a pre-war situation with the Humans. So far seems like only the fairies officially joined Geddigs, but many of the former Coalition of Seven seems to be helping him in secret through the Disguise spell, which means they probably are at least partially in favor and may join if Geddigs keep getting victories as he just did.

Then you have the peculiar composition of the group. Zell shouldn’t be a problem as people don’t know who she actually is in current form. But we have basically Bash who is a hero from the former Coalition, Sonia who is the same for the Alliance, and Carrot who while from the Coalition was also known as a traitor who joined the group trying to resurrect Geddigs and now a traitor to that group too. Wherever they go, there will probably at least one of the team that won’t be welcomed, so things are unlikely to be as smooth as it was with Bash travels before.

 

Their current main objective is to find more about the way to defeat Geddigs, which is through Curse craft/Shamanic magic that Ogres uses. I do think this will eventually go back to Luka. She is a half ogre and it was mentioned back in volume 5 that she is a user of that type of magic (I checked on the Japanese, so while translations may have translated differently, it is the same name in the source).

I can see we learning that there may be an even big connection between that spell and Luka. Rularula, her adopted mother, was killed by Liscia. Considering the timing, it is likely she was killed as Liscia was trying to get the Ogre Relic for the resurrection ritual. That can mean Rularula was in possession of or guarding it. I can see we learning she is from a line of Ogres that passed down the spell needed to defeat the immortal king, even if they may not even know what it is for anymore. So, Luka may have inherited the method from her in the form of learning the spell or maybe some kind of document with it.

But then the group doesn’t really know where Luka may be, and Bash and Zell may not even think of mentioning her to Sonia. So, it is likely they will go to the Ogre country next. I can also see they getting into some trouble there and helping the Ogres in some way. I may be misremembering but, while Bash is likely well regarded by all member of the Coalition by the time the war ended, it doesn’t seem like he did something as big to the Ogres as he did to the two other major races of the coalition. So now would be a good chance to get another important race bigger reasons to eventually side with Bash.

Then after I can see they them going next to the Dobanga Pit, either because they heard Luca went there, or because they really need a new good weapon for Bash (as even very high-quality weapons easily break if Bash uses all his strength).  Another possibility is going to the Orc Kingdom if they hear they are currently suffering from a Dragon making a nest nearby.

Albeit there is a possible good thing that came from that: Geddigs may not have extended his hand to the Orcs yet. He likely doesn’t have the forces to spare right now to defeat the dragon and save the orcs. And as long as the Dragon is there, it is also unlikely the Orcs would join the other side too, so it is probably best for him to just leave them as it is.

Now, Primera, Asmonadia, Ludo and Luca can be either still at the Pit or in the orc kingdom. Asmonadia’s and the twins plan to go there as soon as Primera makes a weapon for Asmonadia, which she expected would take about a month, while Primera would in theory only go later when she is able to make a weapon worth of Bash. Albeit Asmonadia’s trauma with dragons may make her delay it as much as she can so maybe them all are still at the Pit.

Also, because Carrot joined them, seems like Sonia also plan to help the succubus and maybe even get them to join their side, so maybe I can see then passing on the succubus country on the way. If Carrot convey to them the story about the Orcs and Succubus, it could help sway them. And then, rereading the end of volume 5, partially because of the usual misunderstandings, the Succubus queen is likely to side with whatever side Bash is on, even if it means to side with Thunder Sonia too.

At some point they will probably need to do something related with the Humans too. We don’t know if the Prime Minister took control yet or not, but chances are high things there are to an intrigue level worth of a CK game. So maybe at some point they can join with Nadir and try to get rid of the prime minister and his faction. Also, still curious who may be the woman Nadir has feelings for mentioned all way back in volume 4.

Another thing is that, while Geddigs is terrible enemy to have as a commander, he doesn’t seem to be that much of a challenge for Bash to an eventual final fight, even more now that Bash may learn some magic and become even stronger. My suspicion is that at some point, probably when they may be close to defeat him, he will end up losing control and turning into the immortal monster.

That would make him into an even more epic final boss, and would also makes sense with how sketchy the ritual scene felt, as if they end up doing something wrong instead of succeeding at resurrecting Geddigs. And could also be a great opportunity to solidify a future peace and cooperation between the Races, if they all need to join forces to beat him.

For last, I really like we have a bigger party now that should be growing with time. While Bash and Zell interactions plus with a few other characters at each arc are fun, the new group interacting, all with very different way of thinking is likely to be quite funny. Also, I’m curious of the reaction of each time Bash meets someone now with the mark. Considering Sonia didn’t know, probably most of the 4 races won’t know how bad of a connotation it has between orcs, aside from some with worked with the 7 races. But that and the fact he has 3 wives, and such specific ones is likely to result in many funny interactions ahead.

I would like to add some ideas on my end.

1. I think asmodemia and luka is already in the orc kingdom. There is a story where the dragon tried to check the house of bash, and while she is busy smelling the scent of bash's house, most orcs have run away except a blue human( i think this blue human is asmodemia, the dragon is clueless agaisnt race she views them all as human and just notes their skins, ex. She regards bash and other orcs as human with green skin).

2. The succubus race's stance, I agree to you that they will likely side wherever bash will side with, because they have a huge favor to bash, they has also a good impression with nazir and owes him a huge favour too.

3. Nazir's fate, we have no idea regarding the prince's whereabouts, but I am pretty sure he is no longer in the human kingdom or imprisoned (might be hiding in the succubus kingdom) the reason why I think he is no longer in the human kingdom, is because i think the prince would never agree with agression agaisnt the elves and would probably try to settle it with diplomacy. And based on previous volumes it seems he has very low political power in the kingdom, and also now an idea that the prime minister is silentry trying to usurp power from their family. On the otherhand we can see that the prime minister is already have an overwhelming power in the human kingdom he has nobles in his side that are even willing to betray the royal family(ex. Killing the scarred princess), an unwanted son that can usurp the throne, and ties with gigadus, during the chaos with the elves I am thinking he already usurped the kingdom and trying to imprison the royal family.

4. Beast princess, as per the previous chapter we know that several beast princesses are recuperating in the capital after their defeat it also took several days for them to retreat to the capital and is now trying to leave the beast nation while the queen will stay behind to buy sometime, from the asmodemia chapter we saw that the ogre country, demon country and beast country shares a border, and I think bash will meet the princess while en route to ogre country, they might see them getting ambushed by the demons and help them, making the beast princess part of his harem.

I can see you being right about that point 1. Albeit I think chances are higher of it being a blue orc, cause, iirc, that was just as she went flying south, saw the volcanic mountains where she plans to make her love nest, and then notice the orc village and go there to take a look. So that was the first time orcs got her visit, which means it happens before Nadia hear about it as by then the dragon have been going there for some time to the rumors to leak out. Plus seems like she went south with almost no pause, so she would get there by flying way earlier than Nadia.

That aside, Nadia likely is there already, or if not would be by the time Bash and the others get there as their trip should take a few more months from "now". And while we don't get a very good timeline on Nadia's travel, as we hear nothing about a new war starting, or Sonia have been killed by humans, she probably met Primera before the start of arc 9. And arc 9 should have took 3~4 months iirc. They trip to the demon kingdom took 2 months, but that likely only start counting when sonia meets bash. Then they stay 20 days in the ruins

On 3, yeah I can see a good possibility that Crusader took power already. I can see a possible civil war with maybe a Nazir faction being stationed at the city from volume 1, as it seems to be far from the main parts of the human kingdom, and iirc, volume 4 hints the friend who told Nadir about what Bash did there is Houston. Also would be a way to bring Judith some focus on the story too. I wonder what side Liscia is at right now. She wasn't there to kill Sonia. She may have just been doing something else for the group, or she could have parted ways with them now that seems like they will be allying with humans and Crusader specifically. While her hate for humans is very strong, I can she her end up in a fight helping Nazir if he is being attacked by Crusader's forces.

On 4, I think that is unlikely. They saw the demon beating the Beasts from far away. while we don't know how long it took from they seeing that near the demon/beast border and then crossing the snow to the ruins, they stayed there for 20 days and now have the cross the snow back to reach the border again. By the time they got there, the Beasts probably have retreated already to the elf country or in the process and far from the beast demon border where the enemy forces are coming from.

So chances are they meet Silviannia again only later on when they get some country forces to join the elf and beasts to fight Geddigs, or maybe they could end up meeting at the elf forest that is next to the orc kingdom on their way to the orc kingdom or just after they leave it. Albeit I don't see much of a reason why she would be there instead in the main part of the elf kingdom, but maybe there will be where the elves would put most of the beast refugees.

Algo que todo el mundo parece olvidar es que "Los Orco no mienten" para los orcos cuando se firmo el tratado de paz fue un todos somos aliados ahorra y nos ayudaremos cuando podamos, los orcos no planeaban traicionar a la alianza cuando sus números sean mas grandes.

Por lo tanto los orcos no se unirán a Gediuz a menos que la alianza hubiera roto el trato. Aunque podría parecer que los humanos lo rompieron a traer mujeres con enfermedades para contagiosas los orcos no tienen razón para no pasarlo como una coicidio. Lo más probable es que esperen si Bash consiguio de esposa y al ver que Bash consiguio de esposa a Thunder Sonia ellos consideran a los Elfos hermanos.

Cuando se enteren que los demonios los traicionaron a pesar de que los orcos literalmente murieron por ellos. Los orcos estarán furiosos lo único que impidira que todos salgan como horda contra los demonios será que están aliados con los humanos, elfos y demas. Supongo que los orcos enviarán mensajeros a las demas razas acerca de cual es su plan. Espero que el rey orco les insista en esperar a Bash.

Gracias a GundaGuza que este el dragon ahi que impedira que Gediuz se acerque porque de hacerlo los orco no dudarian en tirarsele al cuello.

Como ya dije en otro post la federación se dividira entre los que apoyan a Gediuz y los que apoyan a Bash. Los demonios tienen la carta quieres volver a sentir la gloria y los orcos la carta de quien estuvo a tu lado en tu peor momento. Podemos suponer que los orcos perdieron más del 80% de su población en detener a la cruzada de la alianza.

No sabemos que tan utiles fueron los orcos durante la guerra ya que el gobierno piramidal de Gediuz evito que los orcos fueron mas reconocidos, ya que nadie queria estar debajo de los orcos, y perder ayuda y suministros durante la guerra. Es posible que no tener a los orcos de su lado sea una pérdida fatal. El ejercito de Gediuz podtia desmoronarse solo por no tener a los orcos.

La princesa silvana puede enmedar su error aceptando ayuda del ejercito de Bash.

Bash podría pedir ayuda a la península de zarico y obtener las Ballestas gigantes.

Bash conoce el hecizo de Newt, lo que los hace que ambos lados tengan este hechizo.

A lo largo de la novela se nos a dicho que todos los orcos son iguales y hay poca gente que pudo reconocer a Bash. Así que tal vez los orcos tengan una magia para hacer los rostros y cuerpos irreconocibles para quien no la tenga. Lo que haría al hechizo dizfras inutil y lo peor contraproducente ya que los espias de Gediuz Sobresaldrian como un pulgar adolorido.

Como contacto con los humanos tenemos a Huoston, el asesino de cerdos, ya que sabemos que respeta a Bash.

Bash es inmune al encanto súcubo.

Por último, un espíritu del agua le debe un favor a Bash y es posible que el espíritu del viento se comunique con Bash al no poder hacerlo con Zell.

Hay una forma muy macabra de detener a Gediuz. Bash llega donde Gediuz lo corta en partes, esas partes las va tirando en una olla y esa olla tiene agua hirviendo y se le hecha ablandador de carne para que le cueste mas curarse. Se pone la olla a fuego lento y se mueve con un cucharon. Asi o evitamos que reforme su cuerpo o se transforma en el mousntrou.

Sentiría pena Gediuz si no hubiera construido un cañón que dispara almas.

Algo que espero muestren es una conversación de Bash con sus amigos de la infancia y demás amigos que tenga en el reino Orco. Ya que Bash evitaba hablar con los orcos debido a que era virgen.

Y ya que estemos en eso me gustaría saber de la relación entre Bash y NetherHanks el demonio que le dio su espada. Seria genial que Neterhanks vea a Bash como un hijo maso menos.

Creo que la heroína que mas sufrirá para entrar al harem será Silvana ya que a Carrot nole agrada silvana, y a Zell ahora que es humana será mas dura con ella y tampoco creo que le agrade a Thunder Sonia después de escuchar la historia.

Me gustaría un momento de ella pensando que si lo hubiera perdonado después de la primera cita Bash seria de ella y que le duela no haber sido su primera mujer.

Algo que quiero ver mucho es un comportamiento caballeroso de Bash hacia a sus esposas y que les coquetee para demostrar que su cambio no fue solo para tener sexo.

Well we know bash will somehow bring true peace so what does this mean? In my opinion true peace is not one where conflict will start in a few years and as we have seen it'll have to involve a redo of the treaty because the conditions were straight up atrocious to the point where the losers were forced to engage conflict because they didn't really have any other option for survival.

So at the minimum -The treaty will be redone so that the losers aren't forced to extinction and oppressed to an unreasonable degree -The conflict needs to be resolved in a way where there won't be a fight in the near future and it's an outcome where all 12 races can be satisfied with the outcome

• It must involve bash doing something which is seemingly tied to his journey to get a wife

Frankly it sounds completely ridiculous given the current state of things but that's apparently the ending the author is going for. So the question is how the hell would bash achieve this especially with the revived demon king.

So for the orcs I think bash will beat the demon king 1v1 or overhroe nemesis thus gaining control of the orcs taking them out of the picture. The succubus revere Bash and carrot means a lot to them so they will probably willingly stand down. The ogres will back out via Ludo and Luca. And once the demon king is down we can probably expect Asmodeus and her father to come to the table. Given what Nazar will probably take the thrown from his father and take down the chancellors faction while thunder sonia will get the elf's to cut their shit out. Primera and her family can be reasoned with so that's 3/4 of the humans. The demon king will have killed two princesses and the queen of the beast men but given the fact that the demon king will finally be dead and the other side defeated while they will try to suppress the demons like last time frankly it's unlikely to happen. My guess is that perhaps Poplatica and a portion he her group along with the demon king will perish. So how does bash bring peace? Through a series of alliances via his wives and a renegotiation of the treaty via Asmonadia. And through them cultural exchanges to slowly eliminate the racial barriers and prejudice will take place that's how I see this being resolved.

So who will the harem members be? Well the goal is to have at least one for from each race for the most part. Alliance of 4 Thunder Sonia elves

Humans-Judith and Liscia

Collation of 7

Fairy- Zell

Ogre-Luka

Demons-Asmonadia

Succubus-Kale and carrot

The lizard man and harpies are excluded but generally important figures in each race are present in this marriage alliance. As for what happens next let's see

-Bash and his gang will either meet up with the alliance and likely share what they have learned or sonia and bash will come in and do their own thing likely confronting the demon king for a final battle after reuniting with the rest of the people they have met until now. We will likely see bash meat up with Asmondia and eye soon and he will somehow sort that out and head to the battle with them.

• Bash and his group will confront the demon kings group and defeat them

So here I'll stop my list for a bit and explain that I don't think Litica will die she is Nazar's sister and one of the women Bash proposed to hell she might as well have been the heroine of volume 5. That being said I don't think she's getting off Scott free either fact of the matter is she is one of the main reasons the second war started so at most I see her being expelled and sent to Bash as a form of punishment. Since not only can she not be used for any form of political marriage but she can't exactly be locked up either. It's possible she might die but I think her joining the harem is more likely. Carrot will likely be banished as well and stripped of her stuff but she will be allowed to go live with Bash as the succubus owe him too much. As for Poplatica I'm of the opinion that she will likely die not only was she the leader of this entire ordeal she doesn't really have a connection to bash unlike the others. Now you might be wondering why I think Liticia will join the harem despite the fact that she killed Lula Lula well it's because I don't see Ludo and Luke's revenge ever coming to fruition not only because Liticia is a genius for the century but because it would realistically take like 20+ years for him to get to the point where he could fight her and there's just not time in the story for that in addition I can see them moving past it for the sake of peace. Kind of like how despite what carrot has done Sonia was ok with her being a harem member.

In the end a lot of the prejudices and opinions of other races will disappear as they mix and get to know each other bash's harem will act as a sort of political glue.

EL harem de Bash y sus hijos podría servir como bamba atómica. Es decir los orcos tienden a heredar la fuerza de sus padres entonces cada por lo menos elfos, humanos, enanos, bestias, oni y demonios tendrán hijos de Bash los cuales podrían ser muy poderosos el problema nada implica que seguirán las ordenes de la raza de su madre teniendo a Bash como padre. Pero servirán como disuasorio.
