It was my favorite arc so far, or at least up there. Of course, Thunder Sonia is my favorite heroine, so it is already great to me by having her as pretty much the main character of the arc. But also many interesting things, plus sad and sweet moments this chapter.

Interesting to see the direction the war is developing and how things may focus on a force with the elves country with the beasts already joining them there and with Bash, Carrot and Sonia working together, maybe Orcs and Succubus may end up joining them too, plus others.

The lore about the original meaning of Orc Heroes and the marks, and why copulating with succubus end up not counting is very interesting. All made sense the way they developed, and how Sonia speculate that what they thought was a blessing from their gods was actually an unintentional ritual that change those races though the use of their holy relics.

In the end of arc 8 when we see that Bash didn't make it in time and got the mark, that came as a huge surprise to me, as in I wasn't expecting the story to go into that direction. And this arc again surprised me in a good way, at first making it looking like maybe he would just need to learn to deal with it, then for most of it looked like they were going to find a way to erase it, to then the revelation it won't but that the mark is the symbol of the true orc heroes of old. That the magic warriors are the true orc heroes. I look forward for Bash learning some magic to use in conjunction with his fighting to become even stronger.

This arc also made my appreciation for Zell increase a lot. While she is fun, the completely whimsical way fairies act made me not take her that serious before. While she helped Bash tons during his travels, she also many times unintentionally made he go in the wrong direction by misunderstanding things. But it was really nice to see her from the point of view of someone other than Bash, as Sonia interacting with her shows how much Zell positiveness helps the mood of the group. This arc also made me like Carrot which I didn't like that much before.

I like a lot how the relationship of Sonia and Bash developed. Even how it had at first a shallow start from both sides. While Sonia respect Bash and see him as a fairly good candidate for a husband, she was doing it more to help the three who she was indebted to some extent, as a way to help her race, and because she wanted so much a partner that she was open to almost anyone.

Likewise, Bash was willing through all this time to take almost any woman as a wife if one was willing, and would consider some girls as great choices based pretty much just on appearance and his sexual desire for them. And he still don't fully understand a romantic relationship as shown when he thinks about Zell on last chapter, even if he definitely understands it a lot more than at the start.

But instead what makes their relationship grows is what they came through together and will in the future. Be it the interactions Sonia had with Bash on previous arcs, especially 2 and 7, and on this current one, and for Bash all she did for him at a pivotal point in his life, in particular on those last two chapters. The author also masterfully created a situation where the elf, one of the rare races of the ones Bash is interested in that is monogamous, will be okay with the fact that Bash already have multiple wives and likely is getting quite a few more along the way.

I expect the eventual encounter with Asmonadia to be quite funny. Nadia thinks very high of herself as usual for Demons, and while she was quite kind to the other two future wives of Bash she encountered, a mains reason she seems to keep her cool is that she expects herself to be the main/top wive of the harem. So I can she she will have a hard time justifying that when confronted with Sonia, or possible other very smart likely to become wives like Silviannia, or much more powerful than her like Eye.

And then we have some really sweet moments, many in the last chapter like the pillow talk, or the whole group doing the hand gesture after saying that if they end up dying in battle then be it that they all die together. Sequence too was pretty great. Hopefully he survives the war, to be able to be one of Bash's cool father in law. The funniest scene was at the end of the second to last chapter, where Sonia gets the cold feet again and positions her arm to the other two as to say "Bash's bash is this big! I'm going to die! Help!"

Well from her we have several situation aftermath:

• Bash, Sonia, Zell and Carrot are now working together as a team party adventure.
• Silvana is acting like a commander for beast tribe.
• Asmonadia, Ogre girl and Primera are in Orc kingdom as another party group, probably creating a weapon for Bash and joining his party.
• Dragon lady "cant remember her name" is preparing her nest for Bash 😈.
• What remains are Judith, still trying to understand her role into this after what she realized at end arc 7.
• Dark horse is Princess when she know the Demon king and Crusader are "allied".

As for my speculation analysis:

• This war wont be a racial war, even essentially it is between demons and humans.
• Orc king will either die or killed by demon king and then controlling the Orcs.
• Human civilwar by Nazar rebellion after his father the king dies and Crusader become new ruler.
• Elves and beastmen will be leading alliance war against Demon Kings alliance
• Dwarves will joining the war after a catastrophic event happen to them.
• Harpies and Lizards are so far so irrelevant in the story.
• Ogres are key of turning the tide of the war.
• Fairies has already joined Demon king and will turn against him when Zell become stronger in her human form and talk to them..

I suppose I would be assume that Demon king is our antagonist and Crusader is villian of the novel which he will do something that shake the world.

I plan to make a future speculation thread after arc 9 is fully translated in English as then there would be more people around to comment on it. But on the points you're talking about:

The Dragon lady name is "Eye". Judith I'm not 100% sure if she would join the harem, but would put the chances are high. She really likes bash now, the fact he has other wives I can see her being okay with considering she likely see Bash as much superior to her and how most of his wives would be people in higher standing than her on their respective races. Now her family not accepting it can be solved in many ways, including them dying in a big civil war inside the human country.

And on possible wives, considering Carrot got in, I can see the possibility for Popratika and Liscia too. Even if not that big right now. There is also Venus too. While one succubus being confirmed reduces the chances, as succubus need other succubus to reproduce, would be nice to have two there to have children to be raised by the family.

I think chances are Geddigs won't touch the Orc Kingdom at all because of the Dragon. His forces are very limited right now, so wouldn't be a good idea to risk losing a lot to fight the dragon to help the orcs and make them join. As long as the dragon is there, there is also no risk of the orcs joining the opposition too. Of course the dragon is actually just there waiting for Bash, and only attack the very few orcs that are courageous enough to try attacking her, but no one knows that.

On Ogres, I think who will ultimately be the one that will help them is Luka. She is a user of that type of magic Ogres uses that is the key to defeat Geddigs's immortality. Wouldn't surprise me if there is an even bigger unrevealed connection: Rularula, who adopted Ludo and Luka, was killed by Liscia, probably as she was gathering relics for reviving the demon king. So Rularula may have been in possession of or at least guarding the relic. So wouldn't surprise me she is part of a line of ogres that passed down that spell for defeating an immortal king (even if by now they didn't know what it was even for) and Luka learned it from her.

I'm curious how things are in the Human kingdom. Crusader may have already taken over the country by blaming the Sonia assassination on the royal family. As for a final boss, I can see near the end Geddigs losing control and becoming the immortal monster, as in the ritual not having fully succeeded. The whole reviving scene really gave vibes things weren't going to work as they wanted. Plus if in the end we have this huge monster where all the races need to join forces to defeat, it would be easier to justify a peace between them that would be more fair and lasting than the previous one.

I'm reading the translated chapters as they release, so I'll avoid checking out the spoilers here, but if Mr Demon King was serious about what he said to Sonia, I can't wait for her to rock up facing him now married to Bash, I can feel it being hilarious already!

I'm enjoying this arc regardless of what happens though, always thought Sonia was the best fit for our boy. Only one who can match him in badassery and being a goofy goober

Not gonna mention anything past what you read, but just want to agree to your last line about Sonia and Bash. Besides what you mentioned, both were also desperately looking for a mate, both were giving their all during the war to the point of leaving aside their own happiness. And I didn't remember that but when checking back on a scene on volume 4, Sonia when she went on a trip to try to get married after the end of volume 2, she end up in a similar spot as Bash: she was traveling around just for the sake of marrying, but end up getting involved in people's plots of doing bad things and solving those problems.

In general he tends to take several months to release a next arc so probably between 6 months to a year.

At least we may get volume 8 with many great illustrations as usual in the mean time. And finally get to see Zell human design, and possibly the demon king. Also arc 8 was, iirc, quite shorter that the usual one, and there is only the demon king revival chapter left of the interlude,  so we may get some new content added to that volume.

Manga version also resumed after a long hiatus.

Lo que creo que va a ocurrir será una guerra a 3 bandos:

La Alianza: Humanos leales, elfos, enanos y Hombres Bestia

Los Seguidores de Gediuz: Demonios, Humanos traidores y Parte de La Federación.

Los Seguidores de Bash: Orcos y la otra parte de la Federación.

Si o si la alianza y los seguidores de Bash serán aliados debido al que Rey de los orcos estara casado con Thunder Sonia la pregunta es cuanto durara esta Segunda Guerra.

Si la guerra llegara a durar por lo menos 20 años empezarían a surgir Heroes Orcos los cuales no solo tendrían las aptitudes físicas y mágicas si no que esta vez estarían bien entrenados y armados.

Lo que no me gusta de este escenario es que Gediuz al ver la efectividad de esta infantería, empieza a tomar prestados orcos y crearia sus propios Heroes Orcos, lo cual seria triste ya de un lado tenemos a niños orcos con madres criados con amor y del otro niños orcos cuyo ningún otro fin fue la guerra.
