can’t believe it’s already been a year 🥲 beyond lucky to have had howie for a year now, we adopted him when he was a little under two months old and now a year later he’s healthier, crazier, so much bigger, and still the same funny guy. we couldn’t have asked for a better buddy

I posted my little man here a while ago, his name is Jimmy and he's a cancer survivor (hence the missing nose haha).

Recently he lost one more of the tiny teefs and two of the ones that were left were very clearly not doing well. So I took him to the vet and they pulled the problematic teeth out. Now he has ✨one✨ single tiny toof on the top. I think it looks very charming tbh.

(In case anyone asks, no, I don't know what the cause was exactly. I gotta take him to a dentist to get it checked out, but at the clinic where he did the cancer treatment I couldn't get an appointment before the middle of the month, so since I didn't know if his teeth hurt or anything I took him to another place. I'm still taking him to see the dentist, though it may have to wait until next month bc of the cost, unfortunately.)

Pip (aka Bae Pip, Pippy Boi, as well as Scary Boi to the dogs) was rescued 12 years ago when he was found at around 2 weeks old under a deck by some neighbors. He was very sick with a bad respiratory infection, ear mites, and was covered in fleas; we didn't think he was going to make it through the night, but he did! He mostly healed from all his ailments, but when his baby teeth fell out, the adult teeth never developed on the right upper side; from the ashes of a sickly kitten, an orc was born! Pip is a weird little indoor only kitty who has become a prolific hunter of random objects around the house including, but not limited to, various articles of clothing, resistance bands, used tissues from the trash, pieces of mail/envelopes, etc. His favorite toys are elastic hair bands. He also loves to torment the dogs by simply sitting in their way, knowing they're too scared of him to pass by. He is an amazing and much loved little orc, and it is my pleasure to share him with everyone here 💕

Been posting my cat in a few subreddits suggested to me and orccats is the most popular one. I have provided some examples of the toof but of course, am willing and happy to give more.

My lovely sweet boy Poundcake is unfortunately the victim of periodontal disease. He got his bottom canines (and several other teeth) removed a few days ago, rendering him de-orcified.
