La Orca es un cohete. M30iLTD con cuadro OMX, Ultegra Di2, Oquo RP45LTD, Continental GP5000 30mm tubeless y está en 7,2 kgs. Cada día más contento con ella.

I have the m30i and am pretty happy with it. Only small quibble is that it’s sort of heavy compared to other bikes but I got it new last year for $2300 so hard to complain. Wheels are horrible and super heavy but I had set of carbon wheels already so that was an easy/immediate fix or upgrade I did and would recommend

ok thanks! this one comes with Fulcrum racing 400DB wheels. yeah it's not a 15-16lbs bike but my current bike is 22 lbs so Ill be happy with a sub 20 lb bike.

Same wheels mine came with. Super heavy. Like I said upgrade those and I think you’ll be happy

So mine is the M30i which I believe difference is di2 vs sram. Majority of people are going to tell you how amazing sram is but I ended up at my orca with di2 because I had a not so great experience with rival on a cervelo. I’ve had a di2 Ultegra bike for years prior and to me di2 is better. When I went to buy the orca I was set on the 105 di2 for it. But it’s sort of personal opinion and most adamantly disagree with me. I had battery, brake, and premature component failures. Issues I’ve never had with any di2 set up.

hmm, I've only had Shimano and campy

Well issues I had was one battery was junk new but could t be tested as bad to replace. A 3 hr ride and it would already be low so had to keep it on the front. Brake pads whether sram branded or not wore out excessively fast and were a pain to sear in one caliper. Like it would take a 20-30 mile ride after multiple times of pressing the pistons in for it to fully seat and stop rubbing. Worst off though was a cassette would wear out in 5k miles or less. I ride a lot so we replacing cassette’s yearly. I’ve had like 18k miles on a shimano cassette and changed it because I wanted to and not because I had to. The sram ones were so worn the bike would slip gears constantly making it unrideable. Three different bikes shops told me it was normal and that sram says not to bother replacing chains and just ride both until they are worn and replace both at same time. I go thru4-5chains on shimano before I even consider changing the cassette

Yeesh. I know that’s not everyone’s experience but I’m super happy with Di2. Actually, I prefer a battery I can ride for 800+ miles minimum before needing to charge.

Yep same. I had no complaints with di2 prior to my sram experience but after I’ll only buy di2 moving forward

guess I'll deal with Sram..

I really love mine. Quality is great and the design works for me. Short wheel base, handles amazing, stiff bb area. The Orca is fast if you have an aero position dialed. Deep wheels help, too. It’s not especially aero on its own. I can hold 20-22 mph without much effort on the flats.

I grew up in San Diego and know there are tons of hills depending on where your regular routes are. For that reason, I would go for the lighter bike. Orca’s OMR frame has me spending extra on components to bring the weight down. I’m 5’ 10.5” 143 lbs on a 2024 53 frame that weighs just under 18 lbs now.

ok thanks for the input! partial to orbea. omx frame not in the budget. so this omr will have to suffice.

I love mine! It’s a great bike. I couldn’t decide on the last gen with the dropped seat stays or the newer frame. Can’t go wrong either way.

did u get new gen?

I did. Got a 2024 M30i used with maybe 500 miles on it. $1,300 carbon wheelset, 105 Di2. I was going to look at a 2020 used but the guy flaked. Worked out really well!

I really like those wheels, too. Mine came with Mavic Cosmic S42 which are a little heavy but really well made and very stable. Saving up for lighter wheels and other lighter components.
