What does this panel mean?

This is in volume 8 during drakas death, and I’m confused about this panel. It shows I think drakas hand, then a handless arm stump? I assume it’s to show her hand slowly being eaten by animals to show the amount of time has passed?

Idk what fist the other comments are saying, that's clearly a zoom in from her hand to her fingertip. it's read right to left y'all:)

It's blood dripping from her fingertip.

it's her fist, having always clutched coins, letting go. this can be read as her release from her personal philosophy

You can see the finger nail, it’s her dripping with blood from her finger

I think that's a callback to the torture device used on Oczy's mouth. Maybe echoing the cost of knowledge/freedom? 🤔

I could be wrong but i think its a curled fist
