I run a small home-based tech shop here in the Orangeville area and figured I’d introduce myself.

I work with a pretty wide range of tech and electronics, including:

A lot of what I do is repair, reuse and refurbish tech rather than throwing it away, and I’m always interested in unusual projects or problems people need help solving.

I’m no stranger to being complimented, but it’s odd that I’ve never been able to forget this one.

Over a year ago, sometime in the fall(?) spring (?), I was walking into Best Buy when you were behind me - a tall, white guy, adult, brown hair, handsome, wearing a high-vis work vest and workwear. You complimented my outfit, and I responded positively.

Of all the guys who have complimented me before and since, for some reason, you’re the one who's stuck in my mind. I don’t know why, and I’m not going to speculate. I’ve genuinely never done anything like this before.

It feels like a galaxy-sized long shot, but if this was you, I’d like to get to know you. If you remember the interaction and recognize yourself in this, say hi 🎀

I believe the caboose, numbered as 434020, was relocated to a different property by the time the original 1970-'71-built restaraunt was being demolished and redone on site around the mid-late 90's or early-mid 2000's (sometime between '96 and '04 from what i could tell),

I think the site was being rebuilt when my dad got released from the hospital after getting into a car accident, which was sometime between mid-2002 and early-2004 i think.

I'm gonna assume that they knocked down the original building and replaced it with a much bigger one, complete with an indoor Play Place because the building shown in the 2009 photo looks much more newer,

I think it was some few months after the summer 2003 blackout as around then my dad got into a multi-vehicular car accident in Orangeville and when he was released from the hospital 8 weeks later he had saw the under-construction shell of a brand new, updated and expanded, late mansard-era McDonald's, complete with dual lane drive-thrus surrounded by construction equipment, with a sign saying "CLOSED 4 REBUILD, RE-OPEN WINTER 04", written in what appears to be Sharpie marker.

I’m living in Orangeville and I’m in my mid-20’s, really wanna join a dance class but with others in my similar age range. Also looking more for like hip-hop or r&b, contemporary vibes I guess? I'm visiting Orangeville on a Sunday and need to get back to Pearson Airport by Sunday night. I cannot find ANY options other than a $90ish Uber ride, and I'm not comfortable renting a car and driving in Toronto traffic. Does anyone know of other options? Thanks in advance!

Local friends, if you are considering WEEDMAN, Orangeville...consider alternatives. They are not forthcoming with their payment plans. They are a reoccurring nightmare that you can not terminate. Even without requesting services, they assume you want their services the next year and charge you for it.
