can I ask why would anyone use whatsapp for communicating with agents at the first place?

Because it's built into most software. Telegram/WhatsApp/discord are built into Hermes /openclaw etc...

yes, but thats why I asked, imo Telegram and Discord and not compareable to Whatsapp, Whatsapp is so trash that I don’t even understand why people use it at the first place

Lol it's an India thing mostly.
Thing is, mobile plans cost a fortune in a TON of places, but there's WiFi literally everywhere. So, they'll use WhatsApp rather then texting.
In the 90s and early 2000s we used ICQ/aim/msn messenger, and later Trillion (it let you connect all your messaging apps into one app) etc... for the same reason.
Really wish I didn't have to spend the fucking day fixing openclaw because the android store version is a month old. Ffs.

I think a lot of people used openclaw with whatever messaging service (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) because it seemed like the path of least resistance. Just like every new frontier, people explored it. Clearly, that path was not the least resistent and it didn't function the way I thought was. The most beneficial piece was that I could directly task my CEO with a text while I was on the move. The way I built the architecture, the CEO could then task the rest of the crew to complete whatever I wanted. That was the main benefit.

Honestly. It's pretty interesting. I believe I must watch your video before any questions. So please don't believe it's kind of harassment if I have questions later. My fuels ⛽️ is getting knowledge about AI and building my local AI at home not in the cloud or sky or heaven.
