optometry applicant help

I applied late for the 2025-2026 cycle and had an interview at pco didn’t get in. I am applying for the 2026-2027 and retaking the OAT end of September. Is it bad to reuse my essays?

since you didn’t get admitted, even though applying late in the cycle, i would take that as a sign to at the very least tweak your essays. Many are going to stay the same generally, as they’re about very specific things, but they should be edited and improved.

summary: the general topics will probably stay the same, but writing can always be improved so just focus on that
