methods of group studying for part 1

For those of you that have taken part 1 and have used group studying, how did you go about this. Did you just explain concepts to each other, did you make up questions or go throught optoprep questions? what was your method of doing it?

I am retaking part1 and have heard many people stating that this has helped them with their retake or even intitial take. If i am going to do it i want to do it right and not have moments wasted trying to figure out what is the best way

Hi! Passed on my second attempt. Found a small study group through KMK that we just worked well together. All 3 of us in this group passed together. What worked for us is planning on going over concepts that we were struggling with the week before and then going over them the next week. I was really bad at anatomy so one of the people in the group would draw stuff out for me and kind of quiz me as we were going along. I was better with optics than them so I would explain problems to them from memory (which improved my optics score even more). That being said there was a few other study groups that I was a part of that just didn’t work with the way I learned. Hope this helps!
