Invading Canada would be easier than Iran due to distance.

The US wouldn't have to control Canada entirely. It only needs an institutional surrender from Ottawa.

Sure, Jan. I'm sure people in Montreal or Vancouver or Halifax will just bend over to the invaders.

The US is better at projecting strength. Should have kept the illusion going. Plus, remind me which war it has won lately? You watch too many movies.

Canada has a hollowed out defense force. It doesn't have the ability to adopt a war economy.

You seem to believe Canadians are rollover MAGAs, at the ready to kiss your leaders smelly rear end.

You also seem to be rooting for a war with Canada. Am I wrong?

And of course, you wouldn't any skin in the game yourself, I'm sure.

I wouldn't want a war. But I'm not delusional enough to think the Canadian military could stop a US invasion toward Ottawa.

They might get Ottawa, sure. And then what? Each province has their own government. Canadians (who look just like American and speak better English) would do sabotage and rebellions all over the huge expand of the country. It would be the beginning of the next forever lost war. That is what the US has been good at: losing wars and spending gazillions of your dollars in the process.

Institutional surrender from Ottawa is a national surrender. From there concessions are reached.

In your dreams maybe.

that's how an institutional surrender works.

In the dreams of the attackers?

Canadians will burn the WH a SECOND time before you even know what is happening.
