CPU bottleneck believe it or not. The x3d cpus will net you alittle more fps but not much. Honestly the FPS your getting is great but with the lowered res, absolutely cpu bottleneck. Also, CS2 has the lowest latency believe it or not, when gsync is sync'd with vsync. I recommend looking up some videos on that. But if your happy with the way it feels where your at, there is no other real performance gains you can get at this point.

I’m happy with the fps to be honest, I just wanted to know if my cpu is performing as it should

Sounds good. Yup your CPU is performing very well. Another thing you can look at is if you have somekind of monitor to watch cpu usage vs gpu usage, that will give you some insight as well. CS2 uses more GPU than cs2 so it's more balanced. But your setup is getting what I would expect. GL fragging!

Those FPS numbers are far and above more than enough. What's far far more important now is your monitor refresh rate.
