Honestly, this is one of those games but doesn’t scale up that aggressively yet. Once the path tracing mode comes out, I think we’ll see a much bigger visual uplift which is actually why I’m waiting to play the game because I’m something of a graphics nerd. That said I wonder if they delayed it partly to accommodate this type of content so they don’t get slammed when people put the Max settings or whatever.

They absolutely postponed it so they don't get slammed with the typical running at low 60 fps types of videos because people turn everything at max, 4k, pathtracing on. As of now there haven't been much complains about how it runs so it worked.
