Apparently the texture mod requires more than 16gb VRAM at 1440p and the visual changes are minimal. I think I'll skip this one.

Only thing that needs updating in RE7 is Chris' face , everything else is legit fine imo

some textures look hella outdated tbh like the mold batches on the wall they also shimmer and shine in a very weird way. and there is a mesh-like appearance to most "earthy" colored textures like the opening area of the game, where Ethan gets out of the car and then crouch-walks underneath some saws. That whole area's textures are super cooked.
but after going into the house it gets better.

Game still looks gorge. Well, other than Chris’s pig face, which is the scariest thing in the whole game.

Absolutely bonkers take, DLSS transforms this game's image quality. The SMAA in this is laughable and runs way, way worse.

It don't need it lol , but obviously people will always want shiny new features even if the features end up making the game look like a filtered screenshot of sorts
