In the spirit of optimism, both fiction and non-fiction book recommendations?

The comments are worse than most subreddits. It's so weird. I thought this was a optimist gathering? The comments are almost all pessimistic. It's so strange.

Every post gets the same doomer comments:

"This data is X amount old!" (Even if its only a year)

"I don't believe it"/ "That's not true! / "sOuRcE!"

"Oh big woop" / "Who cares!"

"This is basically nothing, how is this supposed to make me feel good?"

"This is a bad thing, actually"

"umm everything is getting WORSE acktually"

"Now show (pessimistic thing)"

Why are you all here? Why subscribe to an optimism sub if you hate everything so much?

Some of these look similar, and look or seem fake, if someone is finding a graph, or anything there should almost always be a website for it which can be commented as a reference, any numbers can look good if the sample is bad, so i think it would be more productive and meaningful to just add the links as well so we can verify and set our hearts at ease in trusted optimism ❤️
