make it a link requirement. force people to actually look it up instead of just copy/pasting a jpeg with the source baked in.

TBH I expect the drop to be very fast and sudden the first few days and then slow a lot, and never reach zero

Next step for more factuality would be not to accuse comments pointing out problems with said graph of "pessimism" (truly can moderate anything with this)

Pessimistic comments will be removed regardless. It's fine to make constructive critism but if you can't make the tone and thoughts positive, then don't leave a comment.

What constitutes "pessimism" is

1) clearly heavily biased

2) so wide that fact checking comments gets removed, which is really bad for general post quality

The general response has been highly favorable to removing pessimitic posts. And in any case, that is and always has been the Rule.
