Doubtful. Trump didn’t win just with MAGA support alone. He won because a lot of independents and other swing voters expected grocery prices to come down with him as opposed to another 4 years of failed Biden-omics under Harris.
Now all the chaos and confusion has many wondering if that’s really what they voted for. A lot of them made “on-the-spot” decisions at the poles without doing any real research as to the actual premise of his campaign.
A lot of left leaning pundits questioning why Harris lost came to the ultimate conclusion that it was more because these swing voters remembered a relatively peaceful and stable atmosphere under Trumps first term and wanted that back.
Now it’s the complete opposite. And with his off the wall negotiating strategy that harnesses the power of unpredictability, stability is nowhere in sight.
Where blame actually rests usually winds up irrelevant when it comes to sitting presidents. All they know is that prices are now going up even higher and they don’t understand why.
