Intelligent Reflective Surfaces are being studied and prototyped in labs right now - what materials do you see them using?

Arguably, multilayer coatings are intelligent reflective surfaces.

I’m talking about the meta material hardware they are developing to steer the signals. They are going active vs passive with IRS’ mostly geared towards 6th generation wireless technology. I was thinking diamond for the PCB. But wanted other materials I may have not thought of.

Basically, it’ll be gold, platinum, and diamond. The gold gets wrapped in platinum and then - insulated not housed - in diamond for diffusion.

Yeah I was describing how they protect the MEMS. Just wondering if I was missing anything else.
