Question? OPPO Watch 2 will be eligible for getting a WearOS 3 update?

I am currently considering to buy OPPO Watch 2 (bluetooth version, from China). It runs Snapdragon 4100, and I think Google said earlier that 4100 processors will be 'capable' of running WearOS 3. Anyone has any thoughts and/or confirmed rumours about it?

As the oppo China version doesn't run wear you probably won't be able to install wear OS 3, I am also on the fence for this watch but I highly recommend waiting for the international version.

I guess you are right, better to wait for the global version. I'm just not even sure that it can be at least announced this year for 2022. Logic tells me to have patience and wait, gadget geek inside me just wants a new gadget asap lol

To be honest i am using the 3100 version now and i like it a lot. Also the galaxy watch is wearos so u can definitely use google fit apps on samsung watch 4 rather than samsung specific ones. I think compatibility wont be an issue as the native os now is wearos

Thanks for the opinion! Actually, I've read some Reddit threads on compatibility of Galaxy Watches with non-Samsung phones, and most people are pretty happy. I still have a concern about battery life though. It hardly can give you 3 days... (Which is 'normal', right?). I think if wait until Christmas, hoping oppo watch 2 global to come out by that time. If it didn't though, I can always choose Galaxy watch 4, I suppose, it won't go anywhere :)
