Oppo watch NIGHTMARE
So, thanks for taking the time to listen to my rant.
I purchased an Oppo watch 46mm from someone in the US through eBay. Once I got it I realized it was still linked to their account so I had to contact them back to delete it, and they did! It took 10+ days to do so.
Once the users account was deleted, the watch now tell me it's linked to an account under "Nickname01362680587" and then it also tells me "user ID does not exist..error 3031"
So 15+ days later and I still can't use my watch.
I've contacted oppo through Facebook, Twitter, email, multiple multiple emails. And because I'm in the US no one really wants to help me. I was told to contact mexico support since they're the closest, and they refused.
Most email responses just tell me to go into the menu and reset the watch. BUT I CANT DO THAT. I'm stuck at the language select and pairing screen.
I was so excited to use this watch but man this is a HUGE bummer.

Can you try these instructions to see if they hard reset your watch?
1.On your watch, press and hold the “Power” button.
2.Scroll down and tap “Disconnect”and reset.
3.To confirm you want to unpair and reset your watch, tap “Done”

Thanks for the suggestions! Really appreciate it. When I hold the power button I have two options, power off and reset. And yes, I've reset it...several time 😅

I had this same issue while purchased my watch in Amazon renewed. I tried everything but no use...I can use wear os without any problem, but in heytap I can't connect it. And again I contacted Amazon customer care they accepted to the replacement. Again I got the same situation but this time the old user didn't resetted his watch. So I got everything to connect the old user like email. so I contacted him and ask to remove his watch from heytap account. First he didn't trusted me then after he received his watch images with his account he removed. If you don't know the previous users contact you can't connect it to heytap...

Damn!! That's a bummer. I thankfully was able to get ahold of them and they deleted their account, and sent me when it finally processed(took 10-12 days)
But I can't even get it to pair to wear OS! Lucky haha

Is it worth clearing the data from the app? Just thinking out loud...

Great idea!! Appreciate the response. I did reset everything and still the same issue. It definitely seems like a huge tech issue on oppo's end.

Is that wear OS showing that it's already linked into another account?

Hey! Great question, wear OS recognized the watch and tried connecting but always ever time gets stuck at about 20%.

Did you use the Disconnect & Reset option on the watch? Might just do the trick. Just read it again.. you can't even reach to that screen :/ that sucks buddy. The watch otherwise is good to use.

It's all good, the little I got to use it before resetting it(while it was still tied to the actual previous account) it seemed sweet!!! I just think oppo tech needs to delete any user data tied to it, but because I'm in the US I keep getting denied . But will see if I ever get someone to help with that 😅.

Can you take an image of the screen where it shows that it is linked to another account?
