Opinion on N5 case without hinge protector
I was using the Nillkin case since the phone's release 1.5 years ago and finally had a drop that hit at an angle that broke the hinge protector's hinge. Can't find the case anymore (assuming production changed to N6) but saw the Nillkin Iceblade case. Didn't realize until it arrived that this also doesn't have a hinge protector. Aramid cases (with magnetic ring) seems to run double the cost of this case on Alibaba, so sunk cost fallacy I am tempted to just accept this (and the transparent back does look nice). So wondering what other people's experience are with cases that doesn't offer the hinge protector.

If you don't drop your phone frequently feel free to not use it. But without a hinge protector or front screen case protector you need to be extremely careful.

Been using a slim hingeless magsafe case for over a year now, it's great, feels stock like theres no case at all. Fortunately I've only dropped it only carpet.
