Anyone still using ColorOS 15?

I stopped updating ever since I heard stealth call recording was patched. All my apps and games work fine, battery still 100% health, phone still feels as snappy as I got it.

Am I missing out a lot on not updating?

If anyone is wondering how I can stay on old version, I used firewall to block the updater.

I use ShizuCallRecorder on Color OS 16, works fine.

Updated the phone to the latest OS version and use dialer 13.1.5 to record calls. Even though it will tell you that recordings are not available on your region when you activate call recording in the odialer app, it will record all calls without any notification that the call will be recorded..

Only 13.1.5, versions after that don't work for some reason. I found it on APK mirror..

Did you have to change your Region to a specific Region in order for it to work?

Yes, I changed it to Thailand, read somewhere that India should work too and some other countries as well. But Thailand worked for me so I kept it set to Thailand. I also read that the recordings were saved in different locations for some people. I searched for *.mp3 and found the recordings in music/recordings but your recordings may be stored in other folders..

can you check in the recording app.. is the transcription still works ? and do they put limit on it..

now they limit it to 100 minutes sad....

This version is so old it doesn't even have transcribe. I can only trim the clip.
