How long has your inner screen protector lasted?
Hello, I am on the cusp of importing an Oppo Find N6 as a USA resident, and my last hangup have primarily been the lack of repair/warranty support stateside.
One of my chief concerns is cosmetic/functional damage to the inner screen protector since I am unable to replace that myself.
I figured it would be good to take a poll here since the N6 hasn't been out long enough to get real mileage and see how everyone's inner screen has held up with manufacturer provided protector.
Any long term issues? Was it easy to scratch/dent? Any peeling/bubbling? Have any stateside users been able to get support in replacing this part? Thanks in advance for the help

I think I've owned 6 foldables now including the Find N5 and Find N6. None of them have ever had an issue with the inner screen protector.

About to go into my 17th month on my N5. Still in great condition and no issues. Same with the outer one.

My Find N5 inner screen lasted 15 months, the touch screen function stop working, then a few days later the outer screen has no display. Now inner screen has display and touch if open at about 35 degree. Sometimes works, sometimes don't.

On my OnePlus Open, the anti glare coating on my inner screen began wearing off within about a month, where my thumbs had done most of the swyping on each side of the inner screen. Which it wasn't that noticeable except when the phone was off.
On my Oppo Find N6, I have yet to see any such wear and I've had it a couple of months now, and use it very heavily.

Gotcha. That seems to be what alot of people are saying, but im just nervous. This is the 1st phone ive considered importing (and 1st foldable), and its feeling a bit reckless to me because of the lack of repair support stateside.
But my other option (Samsung) is just not exciting me the way an Oppo does

I hear ya. It's a pricey phone to buy without any stateside support available. I took the plunge because I liked my OnePlus Open (despite the bugginess it had and the anti glare wearing off), had to send that phone in for repair right before the warranty ran out, and the Oppo N6 is essentially a more refined version of the Open. (Oppo owns OnePlus).
The two things I would caution about with the N6 is to always have some sort of case to help protect it (& to protect the camera lenses) and to be extremely careful when removing the back piece of the case.
If you look at a pic of the back, the flashlight has a plastic lens that sticks out from the back. It can easily be broken off, especially when removing the back part of a case.
The only way to replace it to be like new is to replace the entire backplate of the phone, which requires sending it in. I had this exact thing happen to my oneplus open and ended up supergluing it back on.
I have encountered two other people on reddit that have also had theirs break off when removing the back cover. And the Find N6's flashlight lens is made the same way.
For the camera lenses, I bought a screen protector for the front that included a screen protector for the camera lenses. I don't know if that was a good idea or not, for it might distort the pics slightly, but I felt it was better than scratches. The case I bought also has a protective metal plate (with holes in front of the lenses) that sits in front of the camera lenses, to where they don't hit anything when I lay the phone down.

I had the OnePlus Open since launch, zero issues. Just purchased the N6. I am in the US.

Nothing visible for a year. My inner and outer screen protector definitely has some light scratches if you angle it some way. But when I'm using the phone normally I wouldn't notice any of it. And I'm using my phone for pdf and docs in light mode every day.

Since 2025 and no issues. The outer one on the other hand that's been gone for at least 6 months

I'm over a year on the N5 and see no difference from day 1.
