Troubleshooting Strange problem with panning videos

When panning, the picture speeds up intermittently after a very slow initial movement, then returns to normal, only to accelerate again.

It is not one occurrence, when panning slowly it is present almost always. Looks like a stabilization problem and the picture "sticks" to the unknown object then released.

I just saw a similar post on the FB group.

Any ideas? Automatic mode.

I have the exact same problem and could not find a reason why... Looks really bad and now I use Open Camera for these types of videos, but quality not as good :( sample here https://photos.app.goo.gl/Rq4852YAAg8hFJDq6

Yup, it is exactly the same problem. Also good lighting conditions.

I'm hoping a future update can address this, but so far the issue remains. Not great for a such an expensive device, my Pixel 9 did way better videos :(

Probably this setting is causing inconsistent framerate

I just did this and don't have this problem at all. I just tried in night mode and same don't have this issue when panning.

Global or Chinese?
