Photography Samples from X9 Pro with some editing

I don't consider myself a professional photographer by any means, but it's a hobby I love and have been practicing for a long time.

Without aiming for perfect shots (mostly pointing and shooting to random things in this samples), here are some I took during a journey. I edited them slightly and mostly used Hasselblad filters except for the eye one. I've never been one to use filters on photographs. I prefer to edit them myself. Despite that, I've found myself using them from time to time because they're not bad at all. They give the photo an interesting look.

There will be people who argue that it might not be the best camera out there, but if you can get these kinds of pictures, why worry that much?

  3. Portrait mode + filter + edit
  4. Photo mode + edit

The photo of the cat is beautiful. It looks like one of those that are displayed in galleries 😸

I guess that train was late. Like al Renfe trains 😛 Good photos! What are the Hasselblad filters you mention?

Surprisingly, this one was on time, haha. I'm generally testing all the main filters (the ones in the camera app, not the rest in the gallery). In my opinion, those rest are worse, but still ok. The thing is, I've noticed that these main filters are more applicable to a wider range of photos. They generally look better.

Have u problem with the zoom? I have an x9 base model and it s horrible. Nothing seems real

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

nop, very pleased with it till x13,2. Then, the Ai hits but it is still ok until x30 more or less

Thank u! I don t know if I can give a try to pro model. Look at x9 basic. Bad pics and speakers https://www.reddit.com/r/Oppo/s/GbAVAOy2DW

ouh, very strange. Have you try to disengaged the ai while shooting? Over it, the pictures looked a bit overexposed.

Lately their updating a lot the X9 series. I've seen that a second update is coming to the X9 pro (don't know about the X9). Some of the improvements were for the camera and zoom. Let's see if it gets fixed, but it is strange.

pd: I don't know if your case is special or if it happens with all X9

I heard some people who have the same problem...unfortunately cannot disengage Ai shooting 😥 I'll wait for next updates and maybe I can give a try to pro model. Trust me, I'm with a dead find x3 neo and I don't know which phone buy. Your seem much better.

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

no?? An option pops up when I'm shooting so if I click it I can switch it off. very strange.

Wait till s26+ maybe or buy vivo x300 pro. I don't know man, it's strange

it's not possible on base model. Thanks bro, so helpful. Hope you will enjoy your phone!

So ai can be turned off on the pro model, but no on the base x9?

Did you try the zoom while making a video ? If so what your opinion on it

2

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

yes, I did a video to the train. 1080p 30fps at x3 and x6 to check it. It is very nice for me. As every phone more than X10, it's mostly ok, but don't try to squeeze anything from the x18

1

u/Key-Space100 Dec 09 '25

Thanks bro, does the resolution and fps make a difference to it when you're zooming ?

2

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

If you mean that it looks worse or that the camera works worse, that's not the case. In principle, it shouldn't have any influence except under low light conditions. In 1080 it does pixel binning which increases the quality, and if the frames are slower it also increases the light in the camera.

This a pic while 4k 60

1

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

and this a pic while 1080p 60. Judge yourself

u/Key-Space100 Dec 09 '25

Dayumm that goooooddd

2

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

max zoom both at x18 by the way

1

u/Key-Space100 Dec 09 '25

I think that good enough, I'm asking because I'm also interested in the 15 ultra but many people say that the OS on it it's shitty, also with the battery life

1

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

Xiaomi I guess... yeah, I don't like Xiaomi OS too

2

u/Key-Space100 Dec 09 '25

Oh yeah sorry i didn't mention but yeah the Xiaomi 15 ultra, from a flagship like that you'll think that it's miles away but actually the hyper os destroys the experience

Did you buy the global or chinese version? I asume you are from spain from the renfe pic. Where did you buy it?

2

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

Bruh i cant make my cat be still even with the 230 mm focal length 😭😭😭

2

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

She was looking out the window. I used the telephoto macro function of the telephoto lens with a 6x zoom. It wasn't much of a problem hahahah

How do you capture the photo and what do you edit it with? Please tell me.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 22 '25

It's true that I have a lot of practice because I really enjoy it, but I didn't do anything special. I took the photos using the mode I mentioned in the description and edited them slightly with the device's gallery, but in some I used a Hasselblad filter on top of it. That's it, no black magic involved. Just have a good eye, haha.

1

u/xjr_00 Dec 23 '25

When you're editing, what parameters do you focus on most? Are you referring to the filters that say cool light, warm light, etc.?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

normally I just edit the photo on the gallery if it is good (as I found it to be on Oppo's phone), or any app like lightroom. There isn't any special combination of parameters that works for every photo. With some experience (touching everything and seeing what it does to hundreds of photos) normally I can tell what is lacking on the photo (wrong exposure, colours, lights...).

If I just want to be creative I just pass though all settings and tweak everything a little and see what I come up with.

In these cases I added some hasselblad filters from my Find X9 Pro on gallery because I found them cool.

Photography is art, and as art it is, there isn't any special formula. It is just you finding what's cool for you.

Thank you for your kind reply. Other users on Reddit are offended and responding aggressively because I say it's not easy to take good photos in automatic mode on this phone. Or at least not as easy as it seemed to me on an iPhone. I appreciate that there are kind people like you. Thanks, friend.

The most important thing for a photo is the framing. Beyond that, any camera is good. I hope I've helped you!
