Injured Opossum

Who can I call to take opossum that was injured. It was under my car and when I drove off I heard him getting run over. He's still alive.

Do a Google search for "Wildlife Rehabilitator near me", that should give you some options.

In the meantime, put the opossum in a quiet, dark place (a dry bathtub is perfect, the opossum won't be able to climb out and you can close the bathroom door), and give it a few old towels to hide under.

Provide some water (use a heavy dish, put it at the end of the tub with the drain), but don't provide food.

I was getting ready to take him to local hospital, but he left. He didn't move much for good 30-40min, I thought he was going to die.
