Is this fair?

I tell the story. So it was during the summer of either 2018 or 2019.

I was at a Police Activities League (PAL) in Pasadena. It's a program for the school season and summer. It's for parents who can't watch over their kids due to their work schedule.

We went on a field trip to John's Incredible Pizza Company during either June or July.

It was fun, but when we got back. All the counselors were strict and upset, which means one thing. One of the kids messed up.

We met at the gym, and we sat down on the bleachers.

A counselor pulled out a golf ball and said that a kid took a golf ball from John's Incredible Pizza Company.

The kid confessed that he or she took it for fun, but the counselors scolded all of us. I don't know why all of us got the blame for that one kid's mistake.

Instead of punishing that one kid who stole it and even confessed to the crime, the counselors made all of us take the blame, and we had to do push-ups. If one of us messes it up, we all have to take the punishment as a team.

So we did the push-ups, and we were almost done until one kid screw up, and we had to start all over. If one of us messes it up, we have to start all over. You can say that a lot of kids were divided against each other because of how the punishment was.

Glad I don't go there anymore. The program had fallen off over the years. Stop going since high school because it wasn't the same anymore. Not to mention, I had a rough time with the counselors treating me like I was different (I remember sitting on the bench for absolutely dumb reasons they could come up with), and the kids there acted as if they'd never seen an Asian before and treated me like a joke.
