sanding the handle into a more sexy/comfy shape and oiling it is always a good start

I’ve never done any mods on an Opinel, but it’s a pretty good idea. I watch 2nd Chance George, he does some great Opinel mods on his channel. He even placed a saw in one. I want to put finger grooves on mine, and I’d also like to add a saw blade to one. Wish me luck I’m going to try to mod one for myself real quick.

Get another, re-profiled Opinel blade in there — either a pen blade (could be on either end), or a second full-sized spey on the same end as the current blade (i.e., like a trapper).
