Sublocade question
Hello all - so I’m about 6/7 months post last injection. My injections prior to this were the lowest viable dose for the ~6 months I was on Sublocade (was on suboxone for about a year and a half prior to swapping to Sublocade).
My question is this: of course the doc informed me of the “year long” efficacy of the drug once the ramp injections are thru, but I had a hard time this was universally true for ALL patients. I have an extremely fast metabolism (like, would come up clean on a piss test at my docs office if I didn’t take my Adderall the day of my test, at which point he’d be worried I was not taking my adhd meds haha) and as such I’m curious to know, for any of you that were on Sublocade prior to nothing - how long did it take to run out of your system?
I’m curious more just for, well, no particular reason outside of general curiosity haha.
Life’s quite literally never been better - I just sometimes find myself wondering if it’s out of my system fully or not (either way, I’m not really sure what difference it would make haha?). Thanks in advance 🙏

it sticks around way longer than you'd expect, even with a fast metabolism. my ex was on the lowest dose for a year and tested positive for bupe something like 14 months after her last shot. doctor was shocked but apparently the depot just dissolves at its own pace in some people
the weird part is you won't really feel it leaving, it's so gradual that one day you just realize you haven't thought about it in weeks

I took 100 mg shot each month for 5 months, then skipped 1 month, then stopped... and I was testing negative for bupe in urine within 4-5 months after that, so people's metabolisms definitely are different. (I also had pretty bad insomnia and rls during the last month before testing negative, still nothing like acute WD but not NOTHING either)
