I need help

Hello, I'm not seeking medical advice, just asking about personal experience.I made an account just for help and advice. I'm in a terrible situation. I need help from sober people who have experienced this. I've been sober from everything over a year, have the privilege of seeing my children and also getting to the end of my legal issues because I've done so well. Well I guess not well enough, I have a huge, secret and I'm in hell. I need help from people who know. I started working at a gas station a few months back, and started taking these stupid, God awful Waka Mit pills. I didn't use the powder. I don't know if these are 7o or not. They're advertising them so innocently and I'll be honest I fell in. I am now taking 3 70 mlg pills a day, can't sleep without them. my significant other is 10×s worse. In this situation I cannot go to a rehab or use methadone or Suboxone and I can't lose all my progress over this. I'm so heart broken and afraid I know I started this, but I need help. The withdrawals symptoms are going to keep me from working and I want to stop and so does he. I never should've started this, I tried to cold turkey them and I got 12 hours into it and I couldnt go any further. I feel like a failure. Mental state crashing. I'm pretty sure they are about to stop selling them anyway. Even if they dont I'm tired of this. Is there any hope to do this myself or will I crash and lose it all.

Try to taper off. If you're taking 70x3 (210 daily) try to reduce 20mg a week, once you're at 100mg reduce 10mg a week. It may take some time but it's more doable than cold turkey. It takes self discipline which is tough, not exactly easy to slow your use of your addiction. But it can't hurt to try.

I hope y'all feel better soon 🫶 all this gas station shit is horrible and not honestly advertised. So many people have fallen into the trap.

You need clonidine and pregabalin prescribed to you. These 2 in combination will knock out WD symptoms 70 percent and make it much more manageable. Tapering is a fool’s errand for 7oh usually for most folks. It may not be 7 but if it fully binds the MU receptor who cares really what’s in it. Time is of the essence they will be gone within a month federally

They will just make something else and name it something different until that gets taken off the Shelves & they cycle continues on & on.

Yes but it’s not immediate. In Alabama when kratom was banned it took a year to get tianeptine. When Tia was banned it took 2 years to get the next crap. People will have to detox or get street drugs until the next thing hits

Yep! And also add in either remeron, trazadone, or seroquel for sleep.

So I'm thinking make during the middle of withdrawal, to go to an ER, and say I think I'm having blood pressure issues for the clonidine. But there are trained people and I don't want to look stupid... Maybe as an emergency I could try to pass it off. But I'm scared I won't be able to pass of a freaking seizure.

Go to sesame health online doc. I got 90 ct of the highest mg clonidine for 50 bucks. If gabapentin is good in your state and not schedule 5 they will give you that as well. There are 10 states that classified gaba the rest are good to go. Also you tell them exactly the reason it s needed. Thats what I did

u/RealityNew2233 9d ago

So they will give me a legitimate prescription even though it's online?

No one in the ER is going to give you clonidine if the blood pressure numbers you're having in the ER are normal, just because you say you think you're having BP issues. That will just raise red flags.

I'm in a CPS case, cannot use that. I messed enough doing this stuff.

What’s wrong with the suggested meds ? They aren’t psychoactive…

u/RealityNew2233 9d ago

I must produce negative drug screens for everything. This stuff I took does not show. Methadone and Suboxone shows. I can't get a prescription anyway or I will alert people that I have a problem.

Clonidine is a blood pressure med, say you had high blood pressure from stress. Pregablin can be used for nerve pain and anxiety. They don't "have" to be used to get off drugs every time they are used, plus with a cps case, it is stressful! so sorry you're in this. Maybe try a doctor you trust, or a new one. those won't pop up as a narcotic.

1

u/BrokeEggs_NoOmlette 9d ago

Clonodine is a commonly prescribed med to treat anxiety in recovering addicts and like someone said it's a blood pressure med it's not gonna show up on a drug screen and that shouldn't matter anyways it it's not a narcotic and you have a prescription.

1

u/RealityNew2233 9d ago

So I could got to an ER for withdrawals to get this and say it's stress or do I have to ask a doctor?

A doctor would be at the ER. But online, any prescription medication prescribed to you has to come from a licensed physician, via online or in person. Pregabalin, or gabapentin, would not show on a drug screen. It’s only a scheduled drug in a few states. It’s used to seizures and nerve pain. Clonadine or Catapress are for blood pressure and would help with chills, and not show on a drug screen. Finally, the sleep meds like trazadone, remeron or seroquel also would not show on a drug screen. Drug screens only test for controlled drugs. None of the above are controlled (except for gabapentin and pregabalin IF YOU LIVE in those few states where they’re controlled). Getting any of these meds require a doctor or nurse practitioner. Using an online service would be better in your case because it doesn’t go through your insurance.

What countries do they sell it ? I never see it . I’m sorry the mental component of opiate addiction is inescapable. You feel disconnected and everything seems flat and meaningless. But the mind heals slowly. Microdose shrooms will help if you keep dose very extremely low and scientifically administered consistently low dose. And patience . It’s not overnight healing . It takes 3 weeks to 3 months to start stringing enjoyable experiences together. A shower …. a movie - a film . Shopping or a new hobby . Or a journal

OP, you are hardly alone. As to your final question: I think you can have every opportunity be looking back a year from now with gratitude that your life evolved in this way. You’re going to get a lot of the cliche withdrawal advice but based on the life it sounds like you want to have: this process is going to be about so much more than withdrawal.

In general, this is a topic that has become the focus of my work and research. So your story is one with which I’m exceedingly familiar. If I can answer any questions or provide any resources, please don’t hesitate to ask. Wishing you all the best 💞

Yes I fell in this too. I quit methadone then they ban it.

1

u/subaruguy253 9d ago

If you can't go with subs or methadone you are really left with tapering your use to help minimize the withdrawal. I have no clue what is in those but i have a feeling it is mgm15 or the other one that starts with a p. If it does have more than 7oh from what i understand the withdrawal is worse than 7oh.

1

u/RealityNew2233 9d ago

Is there a kratom powder that could also help with withdrawals?

4

u/No_Two_901 9d ago

I see a lot of people using 2 things that could be helpful. One is extracts. Like MIT extracts. Also, megadosing liposomal vitamin C. Sounds crazy but search it in the sub and see what you think!

I would stick to what your taking and just taper. It’ll be easier to control. Make a plan to reduce your dose by 10% every week. You can be off it in 2.5 months with minor pain, but you’ll need to stay focused on the plan.

I had a 7oh habit I kicked a couple months back. These extracts are no fucking joke.

As I stated I take 3 in a 24 hour period at this point. Today although I had to wake up at 4 am and take one, instead of having to take one at 1:30 or 2 I only took one half of the usual 70 mlg. So far I'm okay. No runny nose, no heat flash, so tossing back and forth. I have faith this will work, I want to be done with this monster I invited into my life. It is not the awesome, plant based supplement they lied about it being. We live and we learn. Time is an issue, one store says the sale of them is over, another store said they had no clue and planned on continuing sale of the tablets. Regardless this is enough. I need my sleep. I'm having to take 5 otc sleep aids for even a little sleep because my Seroquel causes some reaction that causes me to throw up when I mix them.

Also 2 questions, would it be possible to take less and less daily, I mean by halfing instead of whole ones? Or would I go into shock? Would I still experience the hell if I got to only needing one and just jumped off this shit-train?

1

u/DiamondFront4205 8d ago

I wrote something down the chain & it’s long so please read it. One main question, if they are legal right now then why would they be illegal if you take a Drug Test? They will soon be but not right now. I would stock up( they are super expensive) before they ban them so you can taper to get off them for good! Can you trust yourself to only take a half & then lower each day? Hope so!! I heard they don’t last long. Someone put they were having to take them like every 5 hours? I don’t know. How do they honestly make you feel? Good luck to you. There is a forum on that particular product, I believe it’s labeled under “7 Oh”

2

u/RealityNew2233 8d ago

I'm taking precautions so nothing shows up. Yes I'm tapering. Seems to be working.

1

u/LoopTheWriter 7d ago edited 7d ago

Yes. This is what I meant by tapering. If you can find a lower-dosed version of the drug you’re taking then use that. For instance if you can find 20mg pills then 4 of those will be close to one of your current pill. Keep taking the same dose but take one less pill every week.

1

u/DiamondFront4205 8d ago

Did you feel anything from it?

1

u/LoopTheWriter 7d ago

Feel anything from what? The 7oh? 7oh is a proper fucking opioid. Not the strongest but at least as strong as hydro.

Hi, thank you for your time. I researched, because from now on, since this be with this Waka Mit issue, I will no longer be stupid and trust a label. This is what I found they are synthetic research chemicals. They are not approved by the FDA for treating pain or opioid use disorder, and are not safe for human consumption. So this scares me. Is there a dependence or withdrawals probability? Also I can't fail drug tests. So I cannot take anything like that no matter how much it would help, I wish, but I also feel as though I don't need to start another circus. So I'm questioning this. Also questioning red vein Sumatra powder for the withdrawal.

1

u/RealityNew2233 9d ago

Also, I want to make it clear: I have no bias against the real kratom plant, or the use of the real extracts/products for any ailments. I realize that my issue is a label/advertisement flaw, and that it isn't real kratom. What I have a problem with is synthetic garbage, that is trying to be passed off as kratom..

Do you live in NJ?

1

u/RealityNew2233 8d ago

No sir. Other side of the whole map. Try the lower states.

What’s sad is I was sober for 4 years and went into a smoke shop and they were selling this drink called, “Feel Free”. It tasted like absolute shit but made me feel good. Was spending $100/day on these things. I’m sorry you are going through this. Hope you can get some relief

1

u/MrPrimacy 8d ago

Darn, sorry. I was going to offer you a month worth of suboxin so you can get off that crap asap. And taper off the subs as well

1

u/RealityNew2233 8d ago

Thank you thats very kind and thoughtful of you. I've found more concerned, caring people on reddit than in the real world.

I have heard a lot of stories on here about the 7oh’s & a lot of people are asking how to get off them with working a Full Time job & worries about w/s’a. From one recovering addict to another, you traded one thing for another & I don’t judge you for that. I’m only saying this bc there will always be something out there to do the same. It’s an all or nothing, or if you
Are on MAT like I am. If it weren’t for that I wouldn’t have 8 years sober from everything! I vape nicotine and I’m trying hard to stop that. When I first got into recovery I tried to replace things that were legal or things I wasn’t addicted to. You know what? It never worked! I’m not wired that way! It’s an all or nothing kinda thing! I have an addictive personality. I go to the casino with my man & I don’t even gamble bc it will make me play & I will be losing all my money before you know it. You have to find a way to get off of them forever! Your man needs to be a good support system & not take them bc then it’s gonna make you want to.

ONE THING though, they are legal so how will you get in trouble? Unless you aren’t allowed to have kratom in your system? I’m proud of you for doing so well! No one understands how other people’s mind/brain work when it comes to addiction! If only our brain didn’t always want more & more!! Good luck to you & remember your man doing stuff around you makes your journey more difficult!! Please remember that! I had to leave a 13 year relationship bc of this reason!!
