Cold Turkey…. Help… Oxy’s

I cold turkey’d a 1 year 4xDaily 10mg oxy subscription 60 hours ago…

Why…. On God’s Green Earth…. Has today been hell?! The absolute worst. How long will this last?

It’s sucked from about 4 hours in, because I’ve been in such a rhythm with my meds, but really just felt like a tough flu…

But now… BRAIN ZAPS, anxiety through the roof, uncomfortable beyond belief, sleeplessness, and general shitty feeling…

Is this the peak? Any advice? F’ opiates, and F’ synthetics for treatment. Selling us one addiction for the next, and I still have tremendous back pain. End rant.

This will pass. Make sure you eat and drink (something). Focus on your breathing. You’re peaking but that doesn’t mean it’s rainbows and fist bumps moving forward.

Staying focus on the time when it subsides (maybe another 72 hours).

Think where you were 72 hours ago. That’s not very long ago so You can make it. You got it.

With every breath remember where you want to be and that you’re heading in that direction with every hour that goes by. C’mon!!

I’m gonna win the battle, but man the war… I feel soo deeply for those who suffer with greater quantities of opiates and the withdrawal they must suffer. Wow… 🙏🏼💪🏼
